this was a very horrible place

I wouldn't have wished it on a dog. the room needed cleaned, the smoke alarm was hanging from the ceiling from wires. The bathroom had mold on the ceilings and walls. The sheets had hair all over them (I don't think they had been washed), when I asked for new pillows the man there acted like I was bothering him. the light in outside the bathroom didn't work. the couch had holes in it and was filthy. the rug needed to be replaced. generally it was a horrible experience, I came there to see my grandson being born,

clean rooms, quiet

Look for easier ways to get in and out of this hotel. There probably is one, but I couldn't figure it out!

This hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The room had a coffee maker and a microwave. It was a litte dificult to get to, unless I was coming into Athens on 78. I got into town pretty late, but there were lots of fast food joints around. I will definitely staty at this hotel again.

good bargain

There was dining and shopping within driving distance and a great Chinese buffet in walking distance.

America's Best Inn was a good bargain in Athens, Ga. The location was convenient to stores and shops and the room size was large for one person with a king size bed and a couch.

Very Accomodating

Large well known Chinese restaurant next door. Other restaurants a very short drive nearby. Gas stations on the same highway, and it leads directly into town.

The staff/owner made a great effort to locate me for easy accessibility to the room because of my limited mobility. This included unloading my luggage. Overall the room was clean, but the carpet was probably beyond it's useful life. Location excellent with easy access to downtown and with many restaurants nearby.

It was poorly maintained and the towels were raggit and the so called breakfast was a shame. My family and I were to stay two nights. We checked out the first night and moved to another hotel .

Loved The Late Night Entertainment

if traveling west, take the epps bridge road ramp and make a u-turn at the first stoplight to get in the east-bound lanes of Atlanta Highway, then you will be able to get into the parking lot.

I was a little off-put when I saw what looked like a chip in the room's window from a possible bullet, but I give the Motel the benefit of the doubt in that it may have beenfrom a parking lot stone kicked up by a tire. The Highlight of my stay was getting to watch some members of a visiting College Girls Softball Team disrobe in the parking lot at 4:00 A.M. and pose for photos of each other. I won't say which university they were from, because I don't want anybody to try and stop them from doing the same should they ever stay at the same hotel as me in the future.
