Beautiful accomadations

About a half mile from the beach, other good restaurants and the little town of Rincon, itself. Ask staff how to get to various surfing beaches, even it you're not a surfer. It's a marvelous activity to watch and the beach bars at the beach are also a great deal of fun.

This is a wonderful guest house, on a hill with ocean views, a terrific pool and great dining areas. The dining room is open sided, the food wonderful and the experience quite elegant. The two outdoor pool bars were also great: the service friendly, the food and drinks excellent. The bakery next door had great sandwiches for a few dollars, as well as other good food, drink and other grocery/convenience store items. The rooms are individually decorated with a Caribbean feel. The showers are huge--big enough for two easily. And the hotel staff is friendly and knowlegeable. We would recommend The Lazy Parrot to our friends and, in fact, would tell them it's a huge part of the Rincon experience. We're sorry we couldn't stay longer. You cannot, however, stay here without a car.
