New experience for a new couple

1. Taquitos restaurant opened 24hrs. great tacos and mexican food. 2. Walgreens is right next to the hotel and it helped a lot.

The Howard Johnson Hotel - Carloina Puerto Rico is a very nice hotel my experience was great the room was very clean very comfortable and the staff was really nice especially the parking staff that helped us a lot giving us detailed directions, we also liked the location of the hotel which is in a great spot where we had everything close and much to see.

Stay away from the elevator

The room was clean, odorless, comfortable, and convenient. The 10th floor restuarant was classic. The location was very good, close to the airport and had fast food very near. The desk clerk was extremely kind and helpful. The only bad rap was an elevator with a very noisy door. Yes I would recommend this to my friends and relatives, but don't stay near the elvator.

Beach was accross the street

The hotel rooms are very small, The Continentel Breakfast consisted of a Cresant Roll and a small cup of Orange Juice. The Price of the Hotel was expensive, definately not worth the money!

If going to any event leave early. Very heavy traffic.

Check in experience pleasent. Staff very friendly and rooms very clean. A bit of noise from outside main street.

If your business is in this part of San Juan then you cannot beat the value for money at the Howard Johnsons. There are excellent restaurants in the more expensive hotels just a few blocks from the hotel. Beach access is across the street. It is even more value for money during the winter season. Staff are friendly and trained. Carolina and specifically Isla Verde is a beautiful part of San Juan.

The Howard Johnson's was a good value for the business traveler. The staff was helpful, the rooms clean, and it had a great location for the money.

The howard Johnson hotel have a great coustumer service, lady in the front desk was very friendly and did'nt have to wait more than three minutes to get the key for the room. The restaurant was great it have a nice view to the ocean. I had fun in the future I will recommend this hotel to my friends.

I LOVE STAYING @ THE HOWARD JOHNSON HOTEL IN ISLA VERDE BECAUSE IT'S SO CLOSE TO THE AIRPORT, THE ROOM ARE VERY SPACIOUS. EX: 2 QUEEN SIZE BEDS WITH A SOFA BED, RESTING CHAIR, WRITING TABLE WITH CHAIR,CABLE TV,HUGE CLOSET.IRON WITHIRONING BOARD, LAUNDRY SERVICE,NICE SIZE PRIVATE BATHROOM FOR TWO IF YOU WISH TO SHARE,SKY VIEW WINDOW RESTAURANT, SEA FOOD RESTAURANT ON THE FIRST FLOOR, NICE SIZE POOL WITH EXERCISE ROOM, BEACH ACROSE THE STREET.NICE STRIP TO WALK ON WITH JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING YOU POSSIBLY NEED TO BUY. FROM 7 ELEVEN STORE, FASTFOOD REST.,REGULAR SPANISH & ENGLISH GOURMET FOOD, CHINESE FOOD ETC.ETC...EVERYTHING IS @ YOUR OWN CONVENIENCE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. ENJOY.
