This is a very pleasant 3 star hotel ideal for leisure and business clients. It has a nice small bar next to the restaurant and a beauty salon offering treatments including massage. The hotel has conference facilities and wireless internet connection. Car parking is free of charge. It may not be in the city centre but it is just a 15 minute journey into town.(AHJ 03/06) The building is modern, five storeys high and painted white. There is a pleasant terrace in the front for use in summer. Situated on the Pest side of the capital, this delightful hotel is just steps away from the metro. Access to the centre is also easy by tram, with the journey only 15 minutes and the stop right outside the hotel.

NOt near any tourist attraction. Close to the Metro station. Good value for the money paid. But nothing too fancy nor comfortable. Score 5 out of 5 Good value for a couple John, Dallas, TX, 2006-04-18 The red line station is only a two block walk from the Eben. It takes one to the center of Budapest within 15 minutes. From there all the metro, tram and bus lines are available. Public transport is the most economical means of travel in the city. The Eben Hotel is situated outside the center of Budapest, but the center is easily accessed by metro red line. The red line station is only a two block walk from the Eben, and it took us to the center of Budapest within 15 minutes. From there all the metro, tram and bus lines are available. The Eben Hotel has been remodeled, is clean, with comfortable rooms and a very adequate breakfast buffet. It provided good quality for the price. The breakfast room serves as a restaurant for lunch and dinner. There are not many other restaurants close by. We took advantage of all the restaurants in the center of Budapest and then rode back on the metro. The Eben had many guests when we were there, and nearly all of them were from Europe, particularly Finland, UK, France, Italy and Spain. |
