Be sure to eat your vegelables too, you can get terrific salads anywhere.Very friendly and helpfull staff. The hotel is centrally located near many good restaurants, shopping streets with no traffic, and movie complexes on Lavalle street. Staff is very flexible to the needs of their guests. Buenos Aires is an excellent city for long walks, but as everywhere else, after midnight don't wear extravagant jewelry marking you as a potential robbery victim. Actually I walked many miles between midnight and 4 AM without feeling uncomfortable. You can get a good haircut 1/2 block from the hotel on Maipu. During the week I was there I went on the following tours: City Tour, The Tigre (river delta by boat, train, and bus), Fiesta de Gauchos, and Noche de Tango at El Viejo Almacen. The busses pick you up at the hotel. Score 5 out of 5 My review of Dazzler Tritone Ronald, Chicago, IL, 2006-05-30 Florida Avenue shopping strip is one block away. Theatres on Corrientes are 3 blocks away. There are 2 milongas (tango dance halls) within 4 blocks (Plaza Bohemia & Confiteria Ideal).The staff at the Dazzler Tritone was very friendly and helpful, not just the front desk but also the restaurant and housekeeping. The breakfast is very good, and includes meats, cheeses, eggs, breads, and fruits. The location was very good - one block from the Florida Avenue shopping district, and 3 blocks from Corrientes. The room was simple but clean and the bed was very comfortable. The rooms on the street side are noisy due to heavy traffic so we asked to be moved to the back side of the hotel, which was very quiet and had shutters to keep out light, which was very useful because we went to Buenos Aires to dance tango and went to all the late night milongas and slept late. Housekeeping did not bother us and was happy to clean our room in the early afternoon. A very pleasant experience. Score 4 out of 5 Very friendly staff, hotel was close to everything, very safe Eduardo, 2006-05-08 Two blocks away was the shopping for leather, 3-5 blocks away were the momuments. 15 minutes walk was the dining section.Dazzler Tritone was very well situated in the heart of the city. I like the fact that the staff was very friendly and professional. They had great suggestions for the tours (of which we would not have known about), food suggestions and shopping. They took care of us till the moment we left. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was great. Though we could have were not aware we would hear the rumble of buses till late at night - that could not be avoided. I suggest bringing earplugs. The beds could have used a bit ouf upgrade as they were sinking - w/c caused my sore back. Overall, it was great deal for the price, location and the experience. It made our vacation memorable. Score 5 out of 5 Nicely situated, clean and comfortable Marcia, Albany, NY, 2006-04-28 A block from the two pedestrian streets in Buenos Aires and from the beautiful Galerias Pacifico.The Dazzler Tritone was perfect for my needs,. I especially liked the small closet with shelves next to the large vanity. The shower and toilet were separate from the vanity. There was plenty of closet space, the bed was comfortable, and the ventilation good. The elevator was quick. The breakfast was very nice with eggs, sausage and an assortment of croissants and other breads as well as fresh fruit. The food was excellent, especially the Empamadas.The Dazzler Tower was a loveley hotel, the service and location was great once we arrived there. Therefore my review is on that hotel. The room had a king size bed and was beautifully furnished. It was in easy walking distance of many of the sites and the staff was always helpful. Breakfast was great. They booked ourcity tour, helped us with directions and cabs and were overall very accomodating. I would stay here again. |
