Great Location with Super Comfort

Within walking distance to great assortment of restaurants in the Puerto Madero area.(And check out the restaurant on the corner Posada excellent surprise and soooo close to hotel.

The Claridge is a very old hotel which has been updated extremely well and is located in the heart of Buenos Aires. It had been more than 35 years since I last was a guest at the Claridge so I was very pleased to find the courteous staff, extensive bar and restaurant, great clean and well maintained rooms to meet with my expectations as well of those who accompanied me on this trip.

Classic Hotel

Pretty much everything is walking distance from this hotel.

This classic hotel in the heart of B.A. was well worth the money. The staff was helpful, a great location, terrific breakfast, and dont miss the hotel resteraunt for dinner. The lamb chops are insanely good, as was the food in general. Our next visit to B.A. will definately include a stay at the Claridge.

A parilla restaurant just around the corner from the hotel. They have a small glass of tasty welcome wine for each guest.

The Claridge Hotel is located in a great shopping location just two blocks away from Galleria Pacifica and Florida. The room and bathroom were very clean, especially the bathroom. But both rooms were a bit small and difficult to move around. Hotel staff were friendly and spoke English. The buffet breakfast wasn't bad with ham, salame, prosciutto and all that cereal, yogurt stuff. There aren't many restaurants around but if you're tired of taking taxis to Palermo Viejo or Puerto Madero to eat, there is a pretty good parilla restaurant just a couple of doors (around the corner) away from the hotel. Overall this was a great value hotel.

Old Hotel

Next to the main pedestrian shopping street -- Florida. Many nearby restaurants.

The Claridge Hotel in Buenos Aires is an old, elegant hotel which has been renovated. The rooms are small and the bathrooms are especially small. When we complained about a smell in the room, a maid sprayed a deoderizer and the bellhop left without getting out a suitcase stand for our bags. It is very well located for downtown shopping. Breakfast buffet was good. We would probably look for a newer hotel on our next visit.
