Miranda is a great resturant in Palermo. Las Lilas is awesome in Peurto Madero. Dolita in Palemo is also very good.

For the value, this hotel was perfect. Located in a very safe nice part of Buenos Aires called Recoleta. Close to some great shopping on Avindeda de Santa Fe. This hotel was a great deal from a value perspective. It does provide very clean comfortable rooms. The staff is very helpful. There is a work out room and a sun deck. The staff let me store my luggage when I had an 8 hour lay over before departing BA when I retruned from Mendoza which was a nice gesture. Over all a great deal if you want utility and a budget is your goal.

1- a lot of bars and restaurants and shops for shopping arround hotel in short or medium distance walk. 2- Availability of remises and taxies any time of day at or around hotel.

The Buenos Aires Wilton Hotel, they were very good and satisfactory. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful, room was clean and cared everyday, great breakfast service, location is good in center but missing garage/parking facility but was not big issue due to availablity of public service (taxies). Close to all center and microcenter restaurants, shoppings and event/show places. Overall I am very satisfied and will try it back again.

Unfriendly Reception Staff

The hotel is just a few blcoks from LA Recoleta, a popular tourist area.

The reception desk personnel were quite unfriendly. in fact many of the staff showed no pleasure in having guests there at all. Some of the younger staff members were more friendly.

LOTS of cafes and shops within easy walking distance.

This hotel couldn't be better situated for several days spent wandering all over Buenos Aires. The breakfast buffet was fine, and there are several mid-price restaurants in the immediate vicinity. My room (bathroom, especially) was clean and the bed quite comfortable. The a/c-fan was noisy, however. I'd ask for a room at the back of the hotel, which gives you no view but is off the street, so very quiet.

Barely adequate for the price

La Madeline Italian/cafe type fair was just around the corner and very good.

The Buenos aires Wilton Hotel was barely adequate for the money. Room was small, but clean. There were no dining options within hotel, but some nearby.

Great shopping around the corner on Santa Fe Ave.

The Buenos Aires Wilton Hotel is centrally located to shopping, restaurants and clubs. Hotel is very clean with complimentary breakfast each morning. Staff is very friendly and more than willing to help with any questions you may have about getting around town.

Shopping, dining, the Recoleta cemetary, markets on the weekends, and several parks were within walking distance. Cabs were also very cheap.

We heard that The Wilton Hotel would be noisy, but it was fine once you closed the windows. Everyone at the front desk spoke English and were very friendly. They made great dining, shopping, and sight-seeing suggestions, all of which were close by. The hotel was just small enough to never feel crowded but big enough to have the necessary ammenities. The breakfast was traditional European but closed a bit early for those of us coming in at 3am. The Recoleta neighborhood is a great place to stay, very clean and safe with enough. There was enough to do within walking distance to keep you busy for days, and a cab is very cheap. Highly recommended!!! I wouldn't even consider staying somewhere else.
