NICE LOCATION

NOT MUCH OF A SHOPPING DISTRICY

SANDALS ANTIGUA WAS A BEAUTIFUL LOCATION. IT WAS RECOMMENDED BY SOME FRIENDS AND WE HAD A GOOD TIME. THE FOOD AND AMMENITIES WERE SATISFACTORY BUT THE SERVICE WAS VERY SLOW. THE DINING STAFF WAS VERY QUIET AND IT TOOK ALOT TO TRY TO HAVE A CONVERSATION WITH THEM. WE ATE AT PALIO;S ITALIAN RESTAURANT AND WERE VERY DISATISFIED WITH THE SERVICE. THE INITIAL APPETEITZERS AND BREAD CAME OUT PROMPTLY BUT THERE WAS A 35 MINUTE SPAN WHERE THE WAITRESS DID NOT COME AROUND FOR ADDITIONAL DRINKS AND THEN THE FOOD CAME OUT COLD. THE OVERALL SELECTION OF FOOD WAS VERY POOR AND THE ONLY ITALIAN ENTREE WAS LASAGNA. OVERALL THE STAY WAS ENJOYABLE, AMMENITIES WERE FINE BUT I FEEL THEY NEED TO WORK MORE ON CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Sandals Antigua review

The snorkelling put on by Sandals at nearby reefs is well run and good for viewing the local marine life.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at this Sandals resort while we celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary. The hotel is beautifully set against a very exotic beach, the rooms are extremely comfortable and the resort was non crowded. The staffing was extremely good and staff were always available and willing to help with whatever was needed. This is a fabulous place for a couple looking to getaway from the normal stresses of life.

Relax and Enjoy

enjyed a little time at the casino and there were a lot of stores, some of which we enjoyed. Didn't have a lot of time for the extras.

We were unfortunately there for a little over 3 days. The beaches, which I really enjoy were beautiful. My husband was able to go deep sea fishing and cought one of the "big" ones so it was the frosting on the cake for him. Everyone was great and most helpful. I would recommend it to anyone.
