Most recent user reviewsScore 5 out of 5 Great Beach Location Anonymous, Newark, NJ, 2007-02-27 The two local restaurants within walking distance just up the baech offered a good selection of local cuisine and were reasonably priced. The Blue Heron was just the style hotel we were looking for; casual, right on the beach and close to local restaurants. We were in a ground floor room which allowed us to walk right off our porch onto the beach. Most of the guests we met had been coming to the Blue Heron for many years. The room was well appointed although we would have appreciated a wider selection of television channels. The housekeeping staff was efficient and our room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels and a change of bed linen when requested. One minor suggestion would be to sell postage stamps at the reception desk or the small gift shop to go with the postcards that were available. We had a great time at the Blue Heron and definately will return. On our next visit we hope to take a day tour to Monserrat. |
