Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 Good deal for business travel Anonymous, Orlando, FL, 2007-02-08 For the price, this is a very good hotel: the bed was comfortable, the place was quiet, with Internet connnection, and while the room amenities were a little Spartan(e.g., I'm always surprised that anyone can think 2 bath towels are sufficient for 2 adults), it was a great value - for location as well as cost. The breakfast could have a few more choices, but that's not a real complaint. Score 5 out of 5 Nice hotel for the money. Tammie, Fort Lauderdale, FL, 2006-05-28 There is a beautiful shopping mall a few blocks down the street with every store you could want. The Best Western Hotel was a pleasant surprise. The neighborhood was nice and it was centrally located for everything I would want to do. The room was clean and very nice. I did not anticipate having to stay one extra night, and when I did, they were very accommodating and made my stay stress free. I would definately stay here again. Score 2 out of 5 A mediocre experience Robert, 2006-05-13 Lots of mall shopping nearby. This place is about 2 miles from the State capitol. This was a mixed experience. The room at this Best Western was spacious, but reeked of mildew, so you had to run the AC or fan constantly, which worked but was loud. The location is 200 feet or more off the road, so it was free from traffic noise. I had a problem with the beds, could not stand up in the morning without pain (maybe I'm just used to more back support). I found the breakfast inedible - terrible coffee, frozen bagels, sugared juice. A reminder that if it's free it's probably not worth it. The pool was clean and pleasant. The staff tells people that the Wireless Interntet is turned off at night, but it is generally always available. Cheap accommodations at a cheap price. If I hadn't found other motels nearby that were much nicer at the same price, I would have been more accepting of the mediocrity of the place. Score 4 out of 5 Very business oriented Gary, 2006-05-11 Within short drive of Capitol Complex and Shopping Center.I was disppointed there was no dining facilities in the Motel. Score 1 out of 5 Worst experience ever! Niqui, Tampa, FL, 2006-04-09 The Best Western Pride Inn was the most disgusting hotel I have ever seen. Within a 30 minute period my entire family and I switched rooms 3 times each time a more dissatisfying experience than the time before. The rooms were filthy. So filthy in fact, that I used my cell phone to call the front desk because the in room phone was too filthy! The experience was not worth saving a few dollars. Score 3 out of 5 In a nice area Anonymous, Gulfport, MS, 2005-12-26 This hotel was located in a very clean, nice area. The staff was very friendly and the room itself was very clean. |
