They were very friendly and courteous. The room itself, exceeded my expectations with Microwave, small refrigerator, safe and most important the small coffee pot. Although the room was a smokers room smelled fresh upon entry and was immacuately clean. Bathroom vanity area was very spacious and accomodating to my personal items. The best part of my visit there was the fact that everything was in house. That is a good restaurant on premises and a very comfortable lounge for the weary travelor. One need not travel in an unfamiliar city looking for a place to eat and relax. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there and if in the future I travel again to this city I will again stay at this Motel. Score 5 out of 5 .............Comfortable,.courteous, convenient Anonymous, 2006-10-04 Beach within a short drive. That is our primary interest, but historic downtown is just down from the hotel and we would enjoy it if we had been in town long. Fresh seafood is available in many areas.Staff was courteous and efficient. Room was clean and comfortable and large for the price. All fixtures (bath, lights, etc.) worked. Location was convenient, letting us go to points we wished without being involved in downtown traffic. Breakfast, included in price of room, was adequate and convenient. We will plan to use the same hotel on our next visit there. Score 5 out of 5 Review Anonymous, 2006-08-29 No review provided by user Score 4 out of 5 Great Staff Anonymous, Denver, CO, 2006-08-27 The Staff at the Days Inn was very friendly and helpful. The room was smaller then rooms at a hotel with a comparable price. The beds were not very comfortable. The room was musty but that can probably be contributed to the high humidity in Pensacola during my stay. I would not recommend this hotel and won't stay at the Days Inn again. Score 1 out of 5 Good location, terrible room Anonymous, 2006-06-05 Food, shopping, and churches are within a short walk. A quick drive to a large pahrmacy. Eas access to I-110This Days Inn has a good location. Easy to reach from the highway and within walking distance of churches and downtown. Although I didn't use it, the pool appeared attractive and inviting. The room itself gave me the impression that the facility was being maintained at the very lowest level possible. The room was musty. I had to buy some scented candles to almost kill the odor. Two lamps did not work. There was a holder for a steam iron, but no iron (I didn't need it anyway). The lavitory lacked a plug. Repairs to baseboards, woodwork, and caulking was very sloppily done. There was a HBO guide in the room, but it was for May and I was there in June. I found a sheet for comments, but it had already been filled out by a previous guest. Wall paper trim was peeling. All in all I got the impression that they are fighting a losung battle with maintenance and are just hanging on. Score 1 out of 5 Needs a better cleaning staff Michelle, Dallas, TX, 2006-03-17 Peg Leg Oyster bar in Pensacola Beach is worth the drive. the service is slow (Probably because the ammount of people beeing served, looks like a popular spot). The food very good and prices very reasonableWe never got a complete cleaning service all they did was make the beds. No clean towels, no cups, no coffee no ice containers. very poorly run property. Score 2 out of 5 Nice Staff Anonymous, Minneapolis, MN, 2006-03-14 For runners, take the N Palafox route south to Main st. From there you can run along the coast and it is beautiful.Wasnt very clean, we were told there was a shuttle that picked us up at the airport and there was not nor was there an exercise facility Score 3 out of 5 nice place, historically located Anonymous, 2006-03-12 Pensacola Beach and a few other beaches are just a short drive away. Big Lagoon Park, which is located on the gulf, is just a little ways west. The Days Inn was a quiet place that was easy to get to, and it was located in the mddle of many places to go in Pensacola. It has a big sink area, a microwave a refrigerator, and a safe. It was in a good neighborhood. Score 2 out of 5 If Cheap is what you want. Anonymous, 2006-02-28 There are two malls just minuets up the highway. So food isnt to far away or shopping. Minuets from the beach also. There was a lot of maintainance issues with this hotel. The room I was in towel bars, wall in the bathtub, front door all needed to be fixed. The overall cleanliness wasn't that great either. Just very plain. No frills, no restaurant associated with this hotel (I knew this going in). Complimentary breakfast though was something left to be desired. |
