Most recent user reviewsScore 5 out of 5 Beautifull hotel with great amenities melanie, Philadelphia, PA, 2007-02-05 You don't have to drive anywhere, there is so much to do, restaurants, shopping, nightlife, Universal studios. The Royal Pacific Hotel, is beautiful. It is kept very clean, and the staff is extremly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The room service was incredible. One of the best things is the water taxi that takes you right to Universal. It is so easy, and saves a ton of walking, if you had to park in the parking lot. I would definatly stay there again. Score 5 out of 5 Great choice for vacation Anonymous, Charleston, WV, 2006-08-24 Must try Emeril's restaurant at the hotel for a unique dining experience. The Royal Pacifica Resort at Universal Orlando is a great choice for a relaxing vacation. The hotel is beautifully landscaped and well maintained. The pool area is large and open until 11 pm, which afords a great way to relax after a day of fun at nearby attactions. Easy access to Universal Parks and City Walk via water taxi or walking path is very convenient. The hotel restaurants offer great diversity. I especially liked the Sushi Bar at the Orchid Lounge in the evenings. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. I liked the in-room safe and the view from the room. I like my room very cool, 65 degrees, and the AC quickly cooled the room to that temperature. Would like to see the hotel convert to the curved shower rods. Hotel check in can be slow, and the snack food shop is horribly overpriced. Score 5 out of 5 Perfect Location Anonymous, Baltimore, MD, 2006-05-28 If your resort package did not come with an "Express Pass", purchase one at the park. With the express pass all you had to do is show your resorts room key which then puts you in the express line for rides and attractions. It really does save alot of waiting time in most cases. We couldnt have asked for more. The Universal Royal Pacific Resort was wonderful! Beautifully decorated with a polynisian theme. Resort is very clean, has breathtaking landscapes. Rooms were very nice, comfortable and clean. Hotel staff were always friendly and helpful. Food in the hotel restaurants also good, had something for everyones taste. Best location to Universal parks. No need to rent car if your plans are to visit both Universal Parks. To get to Universal Studios, Adventure Island, or City Walk you either take a short walk along side a serene canal on a spactacular landscaped walkway, or take the resorts ferry boat, which runs from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. We could go to Universal, have some pool time, and go out for dinner and night life all in the same day. Everything right at your fiingertips, no time wasted with travel, parking etc.... Score 5 out of 5 Very Family Friendly and exotic Anonymous, New York, NY, 2006-05-07 Universal StudiosI enjoyed the decor of the hotel, the hospital staff and the great environment Score 2 out of 5 way overpriced Anonymous, 2006-04-23 My children and I checked in late in the evening and I was very disappointed to find that our room was at the very end of a long hallway. I do not feel that I got good value for money on this hotel at all. I was also disappointed at the lack of transportation to Disney - a very expensive cab ride would have been involved. Rental cars were few and far between and again overpriced. Perhaps travelers should be warned that a trip to this area during a busy period really is not worth the money. Overall my sons and I were very disappointed. Score 1 out of 5 Very dissatisified Martin, Albany, NY, 2006-04-19 Royal Pacific Resort was very over rated. The enterance and lobby was done up eligantly, but the rooms were NOT worth the money charge. The beds were very uncomfortable, (cheap). The bed frame was a $19.95 specials. (junk). With the bathroom wall having boogers on the wall. Here is a goal for you to meet, we had Steak @ the Island Room in the resort, and paled by comparison to the steak @ the Golden Corral in Ocala. That should be embaressing, but at least the resot has a goal to strive for. Never again to a Loew's anything. Score 1 out of 5 Wouldn't Go Back Anonymous, Austin, TX, 2006-04-02 The shuttle boat was convenient to get to Universal Studios and back.Upon arrival, we had to wait for nearly 30 mins before we could check in due to extremely long lines. After we checked in to the room we were greeted with an unclean room, and dirty sheets. After several phone calls to housekeeping we recieved bed sheets that I was expected to change myself. Worse yet, the sheets that were handed to me were the wrong size and had HOLES in them! I was astonished. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. For the money, it wasn't worth it. Score 2 out of 5 Royal Pacific Resort John, Boston, MA, 2006-03-31 variety of resturaunts, just off hotel propertyInitial room was on ground floor and very unsatisfactory. Room was changed and 2nd room was better. The Hotel charges guests for parking $10-12 per day. Room was not cleaned very well on a daily basis. The hotel was nice, but not great. My wife complained there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, I guess she had her reasons for that. The flight both ways was great. The park, shopping and dining were all readily accessible. Score 5 out of 5 Great location and wonderful staff. karen, Milwaukee, WI, 2006-03-31 Location to Universal Studios and Island of Adventures was great. Walking to the front of lines with your hotel card was invaluable.I wouldn't have changed anything about our trip. The location to the parks was perfect and the hotel was beautiful. I would definately go back. Score 5 out of 5 Great atmosphere Anonymous, Memphis, TN, 2006-03-15 An easy walk to Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and CityWalk. Also, the Royal Pacific provided fast passes to all the rides, and attractions, that was wonderful!!!!!The Royal Pacific was a great place to stay. It was a beautiful spacious place, with nice rooms, comfortable bed, and large bathroom and vanity area. Great access to outside activities and a large pool.
