I can suggest this hotel to people with a tight budget. Since the price was low, I did not have high expectations but the hotel turned out to exceed my expectations.

It was a short drive to restaurant, shopping, the airport and tollway.

Room was clean and comfy. Breakfast was good but busy. close to everything. Easy access from airport.

Super 8 Motel - Orlando International Airport South Area was adequate for one overnight stay. Very minimal, but very clean accommodations. The staff was friendly and helpful. Traffic noise is quite loud all night. I didn't feel very safe there. There was road construction and highways surrounding the building.

One Scary Night

My husband and I checked in around 9pm. We were awakened around 1:30am to someone trying to get into our room. We were very frightened. 15 min later someone tried again. Shortly after, a man claiming to be a secuirty guard demanded we open the door. My husband explained that it was late and he would not open the door to a stranger. The man kept demanding that we open the door even after my husband told him we checked into the room that evening. The man finally walked away from the door threatening to call the police. In the mean time I called the front desk and they told me we were not supposed to be in the room. I explained that our card that they issued us had the room number on it. Need less to say this keep us up until 3:00am. Since we had a early flight and were scheduled to check out at 4:00am we did not get any sleep. To our surprise the front desk booked our room during the night, and instead of them investigating and calling the room they sent people to demand we leave the room. They handled this in a very unprofessional manor and the next day after leaving several messages the manager finely called us and was very rude on the phone. You get what you pay for at this motel.

the perfume smell was really bad and the air conditioner was loose and rattled loundly all night. we called for a new room and none available. then we asked for maintenance to come fix and none ever came. We called the phone number for directions to the motel on the way and no one anwswered over a period of 1 hour. We could not sleep all night due to the noice and smell. also the smoke detector had been ripped from the wall and the wires were hanging loose. We were not happy at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some what close to airport.

Too much traffic noise.The location was not good.

Shopping and dining are very close to this hotel

Check in and check out was simple,But the alarm clock did not work,the iron did not work,the hairdryer did not work,the fridge did not work,I wanted to get a wake up call and the hotels phone system that does this feature did not work. We left to go eat and came back and the keys to the room did not work so we had to get them to reprogram the keys.
