Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 middle of the road Anonymous, Reno, NV Short drive to nicer dining establishments of the stripThe Ramada Inn International Drive Lakefront is an OK mall on the strip. Not really conviently located for walk to dinning although arcade style entertainment and rides close by. Ample parking and a so-so continental breakfast included in the price. Staff was very friendly and helpful Score 5 out of 5 Family friendly scott, 2007-03-14 Very clean rooms, nice pool, wireless internet were just part of the reason my family and I liked this hotel so much. It was only 10 minutes to Disney which came in handy on the 2nd day when we forgot our park tickets and had to turn around and go back and didnt lose much time. We would stay here again for sure! Anonymous, Phoenix, AZ, 2006-12-30 Close to Wet N WildI was very unsatisfied with our recent stay at the Ramada Inn on International Drive. Before ever arriving, I phoned the hotel direct for directions and could not understand the front desk staff. I tried to repeat back what I thought I was hearing but still could not make out clear directions. We took it upon ourselves to find the hotel. Our late night check in was frustrating. The front desk clerk wrote down the wrong room number. After lugging two small kids and luggage to the second floor and realizing the key did not work, I proceeded back to the lobby only to get into an argument with the front desk clerk who insisted she gave me the correct room. Realizing her mistake, she issued me the correct key and I proceeded to a new room on the first floor. Upon getting settled, I sought out the business center so that I could I print my airline boarding passes for the next morning. The business center consisted of a desk in the lobby with one computer. There was a line of teenagers waiting to use it. I asked the front desk about their policy for the computer use. I was told their was a 15 minute time limit unless people were waiting. So afer thirty minutes of waiting for teenagers to check their email accounts and shop for guitars, I was able to print my boarding passes. Lastly, the TV in our room did not work. My husband phoned the front desk who advised us that they would be unable to fix it until the next day. The next morning did not get any better. We visited the dining area for continental breakfast. While there were plenty of bread choices, of the three toasters, none worked properly. We left quickly thereafter to catch our flight. Upon arriving at the airport, we realized we had left my toddler's blanket and stuffed animal in the room. I phoned immediately to see if the staff could assist me in mailing it to my home. I was told I would need to phone back at the end of the day to see if anyone from housekeeping turned it in. Fortunately, housekeeping did find our missing items. I was advised that in order for it to be shipped back to me, I would need to make all arrangements with UPS. I later phoned to speak with a manager on duty and was advised there were no managers. I would not recommend this hotel based on personal experience. Score 1 out of 5 Infested with roaches Sue, New York, NY, 2006-12-17 Shopping, restaurants and attractions are nearby. We checked into the Ramada Inn International Drive Lakefront in Orlando, FL at approximately 1AM and checked out the next morning, cutting short our 3 day stay due to the fact that the room was infested with roaches!!!! The bathroom was terrible with bugs running everywhere. When we went to the front desk to check out, the exterminator was spraying the area behind the front desk! The woman at the front desk was very friendly sympathetic when we explained our situation and gladly cancelled our reservation for the remaining 2 days when we requested it. The location was very good close to shopping, restaurants and attractions. Score 1 out of 5 My review of Ramada Inn International Drive Lakefront Pamela, 2006-12-16 noneThe mattress was very uncomfortable as it sagged in the middle. We did stay one night due to the lateness of our arrival. When we told the front desk about the bed they offered another room. That room stunk of smoke. They offered us a third room, we declined.
