Very close to Ocean Dr

Lorraine Hotel has good location and that is the only pro for this place. Rooms are very samll although pretty clean. On the floor there is no carpet so it is very bad for kids (sometimes dangerous). Bathroom was ok. Personell was not very friendly - they just do what they do. Breakfast - quite poor in the caffe on the corner. No diding options. No parking which is big dissadventage. They could not switch off the AC (kids could not sleep becouse of that). I would not stay there anymore. During our stay we travelled a lot so I'm happy to spend only nights there.

many things to do in the area. it has a very nice knite life.and the days, the beach in the back of the hotel,is very nice,you will love it.

i loved my stay at the lorain,the staff was very acomadating.i loved the feeling of the place,it made me feel at home,and very comftable.the only thing i suggest do something about the parking. but all in all, the place was great. i would recomendit to all my friends. the room was large,there was three of us all men, and it did not feel crouded.the bath room was very nice, and well keeped. and i like the fact, that it also had a stove in the room.

There are many stores and othera tractions like out door restaurants just five to ten minutes away!

The Lorraine Hotel was a good hotel to stay at. The rooms were not very big but comfortable and neat. The location is duable, its practically on the beach and just 10min from the clubs and dinning. The hotel was good enough for us because we was their for business and the nightlife..

Do not stay here...

My stay at the Lorraine Hotel was horrible. The rooms were small, the floor was tile, and I found an empty box of condoms in the room. I would not send my worst enemy to this hotel.

great beach location for the money

Hotel Lorriane has a great location.It is right on the beach. Everything is in walking distance. A very nice running and walking wood deck goes to nice park and road continued for a few miles until end of the island. Some people was skating. A shop on the coner and nice restruant next to Hotel. The rooms has a tile floor, no stinky carpet. The bathroom has a lot of storage space, good water pressure in the shower. Everything is clean and reasonable for the money, but not a brand spanking new. First impression will be: "Can we have a nicer room?" Second: " I will be OK with it."

You won't need a car, unless you're lazy.. Save your money and don't rent a car, unless you plan on venturing outside of the viscinity.

The old you can feel the springs mattresses on the beds, no on site pool or gym are my only gripes.. Everything else is cool. Location is great, very friendly staff and a cool wine bar next door you can't beat.. Also it's right on the beach!! Plus anyone who goes to Miami Beach won't be in their hotel very much anyhow!! 4.5 out of 5

Not too long of a walk, there is cabs and buses too.

The hotel was nicely put together and the staff was very kind. For the price this hotel was a pretty good place to stay.

Air conditioning inoperable; no parking

The hotel is located very close to the beach and only blocks away from many restaurants and entertainment spots. A small retaurant is located next door. A small grocery is located two doors away.

The room was spacious and clean. The TV was fine. The only problem was that the room had no working air conditioning. The hotel was kind enough to change my reservation until one day later, since I was arriving late. The staff was very friendly. There was no hotel parking except fpr parking on the streets and in public pay lots. Internet access was available for free.
