The Deauville Beach Resort is your ideal choice for a full service hotel. This resort has a spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean. Frank, Sammy, and Dean are just a few of the elite who called the Deauville Beach Resort home when visiting illustrious Miami Beach. In 1964, the Beatles played their second ever show in the United States right here in our Napoleon Ballroom. Forty years later, Miami Beach is again one of Florida's hottest spots among travelers the world over. And the Deauville is leading the way. Gifted with a skyline of the Atlantic Ocean to the East. Charmed and intrigued by the thrill of Miami to the West. We are surrounded by water, nestled between the famed Art Deco District and the shops at Bal Harbour. Please note: Guest must be at least 21 years of age to check-in.

Score 1 out of 5 great potential but.... Patricia, San Jose, CA, 2007-03-05 The was a sports bar not far from hotel that serves a mean hamburger. The hotel was impressive when entering the lobby but down hill from there on. Hallways were dingy, carpet dirty, paint old. Our room had a strong musty smell, carpet was dirty, window on the inside still had nose and finger prints from last customer. Fuse box in room was secured with duck-tape, the door to the room would only close and locked if pushed or pulled hard. Bathroom could use paint and an update. Again great potential for a wonderful place if only someone cared enough to keep it up. Pool area was large and the beach only a few steps away. Staff had a it's your problem attitude. Score 2 out of 5 tired rooms, nice pool Anonymous, New York, NY, 2007-02-28 walk to publix, cheaper and better than walgreens.convenient location across from walgreens and easy highways access. impressive lobby, but rooms are smelly and dusty, bathroom - HORRIBLE, leaking bathtub, old curtains and shaky toilet. Score 3 out of 5 Hotel/Retirement Home Anonymous, Philadelphia, PA, 2007-02-25 The beach and a walgreens across the streetWhile the front desk was quick and courtious, The lobby while clean and updated, the chairs in the lobby were tied together with caution tape. Nice chairs but no sitting whit the yellow caution tape. I'm not sure why. The closets were large, bathroom clean however the housekeeping staff forgot to replace my towels and I only noticed this as I was about to shower. I stayed only two nights so it was ok. And if you're looking for inexpensive and on the beach, well it was on the beach. Oh, about the retirement home. I'm pretty sure that a lot of senior citizens live there. Lots of walkers around the pool. That part I found kind of cute. Score 2 out of 5 Overpriced for what's offered Anonymous, 2007-02-19 Worst valet experience ever. Each time, had to wait 30 minutes up to 60 minutes for valet to bring the car. Daily charge for valet is overpriced for the services provided. Guests should be able to self park or have access to their car keys to avoid the delays. Mattress was filthy and the sheets kept popping out and gathering. Score 3 out of 5 My review of Deauville Beach Resort Anonymous, 2007-02-16 Older hotel in good location on Miami Beach. Overall its appearance was in need of updating and renovating. Did not seem like my attention was given to cleanliness and upkeep. The price was good and for a night it was ok. Score 3 out of 5 Lobby is beautiful, room is kind of shabby Anonymous, Washington, DC, 2007-02-06 Across the street is a Dunken Donuts, Walgreens, and restaurant and bar.The Duvaille Resorts lobby when I arrived was beautiful, the pool was gorgeous, however, when attempting to check in, the front desk was a little rude in trying to sort out the reservation issues. Hence, that left a somewhat sour taste in my mouth when dealing with them. However, our stay in general was fine. A note keep in mind was the bed had sheets that did not fit the mattress and most of all did not even have a fitted sheet on the bed. The comforter had a hole in it and the faucet sprayed water every time you turned it on. |
