Most recent user reviewsScore 5 out of 5 We Felt Very Safe ! Belva Denny across the street, was nice, goog food also McDonaldsAfter I made The reservation, I was a little leary about it, because it was just my sister and I, and both being in our 60s,But before I arrived I called ahead to say I was arriving late, and ask for a refrigerator, it was in our room and very cold. We felt very safe,we liked that they give you a key to enter from the out side, even from the office you need to use the key to enter the hallway. The room was very nice and clean ,the bath towels was nice big and soft. my wake up was on time (I've ask at others before and did'nt get awake up call) We ate close by and enjoyed. It was easy to get to. The breakfast was great better than some that we stayed at.We go to Miami about once a month,we will stay there again we hope to get the same room, the clerk said to call after I reserve the room, and if possible I csn have it.Everyone was so nice and friendly. It was very quite. Score 3 out of 5 Okay Place for the Money Anonymous, 2007-02-24 This hotel was just Okay. We only stayed one night before getting on a Cruise Ship. We got there later in the evening and we left very early the next Morning so, we wern't there very long. We were very confused when we arrived at the hotel. We went up to the office and there was nobody there. My Husband banged on the door several times, and we called a couple of times, no answer. It was very frusterating because we were tired and hungry after a four hour drive. after quite some time someone finally came and unlocked the door. I guess there's only one person working in the hotel so, they had to leave the office to attend to someone whom needed some towels or something. They could have hung a sign on the door to let people know that they would be right back. We had no idea what was going on. Other than that it wasn't too bad. It was very close to the Airport. Score 1 out of 5 Somwhat scary Anonymous, 2006-05-29 By airportThe hotel looked somewhat abandoned when we drove up. The rooms had a funny smell, they were not well kept (soap dish in tub pulled out of wall, hotel staff hair on towels and in bathroom, rust on base of tv, tv went in and out). Clocks were not provided in rooms, no security in area and there was a concert that weekend so kids propped the security door open and came in and out all night, slamming doors and yelling in hallway and loud music in parking lot. It looked delapidated outside, the pool had leaves on the bottom - no one swimming in 90 degree weather. It was a nasty hotel. Score 4 out of 5 affordable but questionable Anonymous, Buffalo, NY, 2006-04-02 All types of dining directly across the street. Just watch for the traffic.America's Best Inn was affordable, comfortable. The only problem is that they put us in a FILTHY room upon check-in. The tub was dirty. There were hairs on the toilet and sink. The room smelled of cigarette smoke though they claimed that it was a non-smoking room. We went back to the hotel staff at the front desk and asked for a different room. And presto, we got a clean, seemingly newer or less used at least, room. I dont know if I would stay there again or not. Also, we were going on a cruise the next day and it was really far from the Pier. There were alot of restaurants around though. |
