We not only will come back next year, but we recommend this to family and friends. It was 15 mins from Disney World and 5 mintues from a strip of stores and restaurants. We saved alot of money with just the kitchen along.This location was very good. Score 5 out of 5 My review of Universal Resorts Christopher, Cleveland, OH, 2006-09-04 There are tons of dining & fast food within 15 minutes on 192.This hotel is not a hotel, it is a resort. We had three bedrooms, a kitchen & a very large livingroom. What was really nice is you parked right in front of your place. The staff never bothered us during our stay & neither did any other guests. It was like being in a nice neighborhood. We purchased groceries our first day & cooked in the kitchen most days for breakfast & dinner. This saved us a lot of money. I would recomend this hotel to anyone. Several dinner shows nearby to chose from.Universal Resorts office staff in Kissimmee was very nice and helpful. The location was very convenient to large grocery store, Florida Turnpike, and 192. The condo was absolutely huge, but very stark. We had to ask them to come and wash floor as it was incredibly greasy, and even after washing it, I spent over 30 minutes wiping floor with a towel as they must've used dirty water...it was gross! The white towels turned grey within minutes. The bar and grill, and the poolside bar existed, but no one was there to staff it! They did have tennis, basketball, and volleyball, and a cold pool full of bugs which I had to clean as my kids were afraid to jump in between them. The condo kitchen was convenient, and the 3 bedrooms were good sized. The pillows were awful, and they gave you 6 towels for one week, wash them yourself if you want fresh ones! Overall, okay for the money if you want basic amenities, but the floors really were disgusting. Score 4 out of 5 Nice Little Resort In the Middle of Nowhere..... Anonymous, 2006-04-13 Not far from Disney Area appx 15 minutes. 25 minute ride to Universal Studios. 10 minute ride to International Drive and the Convention Center.Universal Resorts is a nice resort in the middle of no where. Very spacious and accommodating facility. My personal experience may not be one to share with others. There were obstacles that at staff person managed to take care of with a smile. |
