Perfect area to be in and out of Spring Break craziness area but within 10 minute walk to that area. Plenty of bars and great restaurants. The staff was very professional and helpful. Very friendly staff.Comfortable large room. Only spent one night.The complex is quite large and a little off the old section of town.Really nice grounds.You need more than one night to enjoy this facility. Kelly's had an after 4 happy hour which included $2.50 margaritas and Jerk chicken wings. Camilles has the best breakfast in town.Loved this room! Decor was quality and very Key West and the bed very comfortable. Microwave and fridge included but we had so much fun exploring the little local restaurants, never needed them. The pool was heated and clean, the grounds very nice. Parking was free and plentiful, and use of the beach front property across the street was complimentary (unless you wish to rent a lounge chair or umbrella). The only negative is that the free high-speed internet was not available to the room, and we had to plug the laptop into a device at the poolside bar. Okay, maybe not a huge negative since it gave us an excuse to try the special of the day. The bartender here is a wealth of information if you want a local's opinion of the best places to go and see. The hotel offers bike, scooter, and mini motor car rentals at an affordable price. Southernmost Hotel is also affiliated with Southernmost on the Beach Hotel as well as two other bed and breakfasts. No matter which on you stay in, you can utilize the ammenities of all...including their private pier which is a must see. Our rooms were very comfortable and clean not to mention cool. The staff was more then helpful. Overall, our experience was very exciting and we want to go back again. |
