Everything was a short drive away, but it was off of the main highway.I usually stay at hotels with more amenitites, however, based upon the price for the area, this was a great stay. It was clean and the staff was wonderful. Great for a family stay that is not in need of a pool or gym. There was a little refrigerator and microwave that allowed for us people with special diets to not have to eat out. I will never go back to that motel again. and I dont recommend it to anyone. Also close to a great variety of eateries, movie theatre, shopping and highway 75.I stayed here while moving my daughter on campus. It was a short stay but an enjoyable one. This is my second trip staying here. It was clean although I was not ver impressed with the continental breakfast on both occassions that I stayed here. There is very little variety and consisted on coffee, juice and a honey but that was more sugar than bun. I think if a little more effort were put into getting some danish, muffins, and maybe cereal with fruit and yogart. This would be a top hotel. It is very accessible to the highway and university. Excellent variety of restaurants-some within walking distance.Excellent location for families of University of Florida students. Rooms available with two double beds-great for families. With the single exception of the much more expensive Hilton-the Motel 8 is the closest hotel to the campus. Staff very helpful. Loved the continental breakfast-a great time-saver. Clean and well maintained-great value for the reasonable price. |
