Great animal store nearby...better than some zoos!!!

My brother and had a scheduled bycicle tour in Cape Coral. This hotel was not close. Check in was not too bad, staff at reception was friendly and the assigned room had just been cleaned up(strong odor of bleached)but the overall appearance of the hotel was poor. Half the lobby was under renovation. I had to go clear to the other side of the hotel to get ice, as some machines were out of service. The continental breakfast was lacking. Two guys enroute to a bke tour would not complaint too much, but I would have expected better if I had my kids with me....

Several big shopping centers not far away. Also close to nice eating places.

The motel is behind something like a car dealer so it is hard to find. They had construction going on and lot of dust but never saw anybody working on the construction. They did have a small area to sell chips, drinks, ice cream and such and i liked that. One day all the maid did was to put in new towels and that was all. The restroom did not have a ceiling heater and I missed that in that most motels have them. I had a hard time getting hooked up to wireless network as there were no instrutions in the room, so i finally got the provider on a 888 line and fixed it right away, although the signal was low to medium most of the time. The room was reasonably priced and i guess was ok for the money. The desk clerks were extremely nice and i got lost coming from the airport and one of the clerks talked me into finding the motel. If i had to say one thing was excellent it was the front desk people, very very nice and helpful. Would I come back ...maybe if the construction was completed.

Mel's Diner is right next door. Great place for breakfast.

The Ramada Limited was under some construction at this time. The room was clean. You get what you pay for . It wasn't a dump and it wasn't extravagant. Average place. The location was right on a major highway so it was near everything you may want.

The only problem was I was checked out twice because they thought my room was empty. I took my belongings with me every day so I'm assuming they thought I checked out.

There's a seafood restaurant right next door although we waited a long time to be seated, so we drove a short distance to Mel's Diner. Mel's had great service and their food wasn't bad either.

Easy to get to malls and shopping. Several choices for dining a short distance from Hotel.

Wouldn't recommend it to no one!

You can drive a short distance in either direction and find great places to eat and shop - in all price ranges.

Came into town with my sister to visit a sick relative. The hotel personnel were friendly and helpful. The room was old but clean and served our purposes. The bathroom was a little small and dark and the sink is outside. Not an issue for me but for some it might be. Liked that there was a PC with internet access near the lobby. This was very helpful in keeping up with travel arrangements and work at home. Located near lots of shopping and restaurants. Didn't use the pool or other amenities but they looked nice. I would recommend this hotel to a friend.
