Pets are allowed so there is a terrible smell and they do not clean the rooms on a daily basis....only every 3 days! It was absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Its a little creepy with a lot of construction workers staying there, they tend to hang out at night at the front of the building and like to chat..not a good place for a single woman honestly. A WALKING PARK, EATING ESTABLISHMENTS (4) AND LOTS OF SHOPPING.WE MET FRIENDS IN FORT MYERS AND TRAVELED TO PINE ISLAND, SANIBEL AND CAPTIVA BEACHES. tHE HOTEL IS ABOUT 10 MILES FROM THE BEACHES AND ABOUT 30 MINUTES SO IF YOU HAVE A CAR, EVERYTHING IS SOMEWHAT CLOSE TO THIS HOTEL. THERE ARE EATING OPTIONS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE BUT THE BUSY ROAD IS A CONCERN DURING THE RUSH HOUR. I WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN IF I WAS GOING TO TRAVEL TO SEE DIFFERENT AREAS. PRICE AND THE ABILITY TO COOK WAS A GREAT HELP IN CONTROLING COSTS. Also a couple bars within a few miles!Crestwood Suites is a great hotel. Everyone was very friendly and courteous. The only complaint I had about the staff was that very few of the housekeeping staff spoke English. The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The hotel was also right on the strip. We actually walked to one of the coolest restaurants in town! I would defintely reccommend this hotel to a friend and hopefully will get to stay in another Crestwood Suites location in the future. The hotel accomondations were good. We especially liked the kitchenette. The staff was friendly and accomodating. The location is not the best. Only 10 minutes from the baseball stadium. But it took over an hour to get to the beach due to excessive traffic. Be nice to have a pool and workout room.
