Most recent user reviewsScore 3 out of 5 Not much for the price Thomas, Orlando, FL Outlet mall about 5 miles southWhile the room itself was clean and had probably been remodeled recently, the exterior is of a 50's style and it is located right on a busy 4 lane highway. There is a Tiki bar immediately ajacent, which the hotel clerk said with a smile, "It's open until 2:00AM and there is a band!". Luckily, we were there on a Sunday and it was quiet. There are no restaurants within walking distance except for the attached restaurant which has good food and service. The price is OK for that area but would be way overpriced for others. Score 4 out of 5 very family friendly Sheridan, 2007-03-08 Outside bar : Had drinks for $1.00 that night. We were pleasently suprised that the hotle was so nice and clean. We got a very good price for the night. All other hotels near there were so much more expensive and we were only staying one night, because were went out to eat with friends in the evening and left early to shop. We didn't need anything fancy, but wanted it nice and clean. We did have a problem with the water not adjusting, from very hot to very cold. At the desk the next day the gal said we should have gotten a letter stating that this was a problem. We could have been burned with the hot water. Lucky we did not have kids with us. We did not receive the letter upon arriving. I think you should have posted this in the bathroom. Score 4 out of 5 Decent, but not a "resort" john, Philadelphia, PA, 2006-02-11 Plenty of restaurants, shops, pharmacies, golf courses located just north and south of the hotel on Route 41. Generally, the location of the hotel is good. The Best Western Springs Resort was not bad, but it is not a resort. It is an upgraded motor lodge. I was also disappointed that there was no hot tub. The room was fine and clean, the staff was helpful, and everything went well. I just think if someone is looking to stay at a "resort" with a hot tub and tiki bar, then this is not the place to go to. No need to drive anywhere else. The Best Western Springs Resort was very comfortable and the room was clean and smelled great when we arrived. The bathroom being separate from the sink was an added plus for us. The Tiki Bar added an additional local flair and we enjoyed the atmosphere and the time to relax. Haney's Cafe (attached to the hotel) was the best place to have breakfast before we took off to the attractions that were close in the area. The hotel is easy to find and we will recommend it to all our friends. Score 5 out of 5 Great Hotel! Courtney, West Palm Beach, FL, 2005-06-03 This was a first time stay for us at the hotel. As a business trip, the hoel fulfilled all of our needs- would be a great spot to sit and relax on a vacation! |
