The Sea Side Inn is located right on Daytona Beach. The hotel offers a touch of luxury at a sensible price including: a large freshwater pool and sundeck, Sealy Posturepedic beds, 27 inch TV's with 72 cable channels including HBO, quiet central air conditioning and a location in the center of all of the Daytona Beach fun. It has also two pots of coffee (regular and decaf) in its lobby all day long.

Shower floor was cracked and squished under your feet. No room safe,microwave or fridge. The only good thing is that it was on the beach. Thankfully we did not spend the night. I thought it was clean but I was disappointed that the pool area was locked when I went there. The first room smelled terribly of dank, wet carpet I think was never changed after the hurricanes. When we complained they were very accomodating and moved us to another room. It still had a strong odor but more bearable. We, also noticed a roach on the chair and a silverfish. It gave me the creeps to sleep. The bathroom was clean. Overall, it is an old motel, and needs renovation badly. I frequently need hotel rooms close and convenient to the location of my accounts for work. The Thunderbird was close, very convenient and cost effective. |
