Charged us extra to use towels, and pillows

It was about a mile from main st.

I was off guard when there was only one towel and only one pillow. I called for another towel and pillow. I was really dissapointed when they asked for money. It cost an additional 75 bucks by the end of the 3 days for towels. They did not even replace them with clean ones. I was told that it was bike week and they did not usually clean the rooms during this time. I am dissapointed.

I was there for bike week so shopping and drinking was really good and everywhere.

Ocean Shores resort was right in the middle of all the attraactions. It was clean, safe and everything worked. The maid service was better then expected. I worked at a big hotel on the ocean in Palm beach county and it did not compair, well the one I worked at was a big franchise so it had more, but, I liked Ocean shores better. The worse thing about the place was the HVAC. It made alot of noise. Come to think about it I never had a room that the HVAC didnt make alot of noise. The room had a fridge, micro, and plenty of ammenities. The floor had a wash/dry, ice, and candy/soda. Im cheap so I didnt like spending the money but all in all it was worth it.

Not much within walking distance, but short drive will get you to shops & restuarants.

THe Ocean Shore was a below average hotel room. Our patio door didn't open, the springs were felt through the mattress, heat didn;t work. We complained because there was only a trickle in the bathroom faucet & the lights nest to the bed didn't work, but they promptly fixed both problems. Little store in hotel had everything you might need. Location was pretty good. Also, iron & board was provided and a hair dryer.

The air conditioner in our room was broken and would not work at all. We requested a wake up call each morning, and wondered why it wasn't happening....learned that our phone wasn't working...would not ring....The water in the bathroom sink ran constantly and could not be turned off. We repeatedly asked for a cot and never received one nor were we given an explanation as to why we weren't. This was a business trip and I expected so much more than we actually paid for.

Trash Hotel has had too many parties, would not recommend. Plumbing did not work in sink,light hanging, air conditioning did not work

I like the Ocean Shore Resort, feel comfortable, satisfy. Recommended to everyone.

It was a clean and on the beach. What can I say, I didn't come to daytona beach to sit in a hotel room anyways. If your looking for a 4 star hotel keep looking. If your looking for a fun time close to the beach come on down.

Perfect one nighter

The Daytona Beach board walk is down the road, and the Hotel was at the Shore of the beach.

The hotel was not too bad, I only stayed for one night. The room temperature was quite cool, which would be good for those hot days. The curtains provided for a dark and private environment which is nice. The Wifi access was a definite plus.

Board walk and pier

Good - Wireless internet, pool, next to beach driving access Bad - frig did not work. Safe did not work.

There are clubs around the hotel but it is a bit of a walk to get there. Plus I did not feel safe walking the streets alone

The room I was staying in was falling apart and one of the beds had dirty sheets on it after the maid left. The floor was not vacuumed very well. However, the pool area was gorgeous and very well kept. The continental breakfast was horrible.
