Daytona Raceway is very close

This LaQuinta hotel in Daytona Beach was just okay. Some work needed to be done to make it better. I had a room that unless you slammed the door shut it wouldn't lock. The breakfast ends at 9 am so if you want to sleep in, forgot about it. The location is ok, right off the highway. Good food nearby. Staff was okay. But nothing was 0utstanding. Stay here if you are not fussy and just need someplace reasonable to stay.

Lots of stuff around.

I was surprised at how nice this place was for the money. Had wireless internet in every room for no cost. No other hotel around had that. The restaurant the was in the same lot, Wing House, had a great crowd everyday. One nice a Lamborghini was in the lot. Nice touch!

Very Helpful Front Desk

Lots of restaurants nearby.

The manager at the front desk was very helpful. However, the were a few items of maintenance that I put on the comment card the first day that I was there, and they were not addressed at all during my stay (missing light bulb, misfitting coffee filter basket no chain lock on door). Other than that, I guess you get what you pay for! The location was very convenient right off the I-95 ramp to I-92 with many restaurants, shopping and within a couple of miles of the dog track and Speedway.
