Most recent user reviewsScore 1 out of 5 Hotel needs some TNT Anonymous, 2007-02-20 The Inn on the Beach is in desparate need of major room renovations. If you like stained beds, roaches, holes in the shower walls and a tv that is in desparate need of replacement, this hotel would be a good choice. I did not feel confortable in this room, especially after finding a roach running around our bathroom. I would prefer to stay on the beach and not at the Inn on the Beach. Additionally, you had to drive or take a taxi to get to the action spots. The only plus was the front desk staff. They were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, they did not have access to the internet, so I couldn't check into my Southwest flight early. My suggestion to all is to stay away from this hotel. The only thing we enjoyed was that it was on the beach. The was a bar that never opened, that was one of there selling point. They said it was seasonal how can Biketoberfest not be seasonal. The only way we would stay there again would be because we had no other choice. Score 4 out of 5 Good place to sleep in peace. Denise, 2006-10-22 Steve's Famous Resturaunt is right across the street for great food and good service. There is a 7-11 very near by for coffee. You are within walking distance from Main St. Good location for Bike Week. The Inn on The Beach is a good place to get a good night sleep. The rooms are quiet at night. The desk staff are very proffessional and helpful. There needs to be some more counter space in the bathroom sink area and the toilet , shower area is far too small it is like being in an R.V. The maid service was lacking in that after my first night there they left dirty towels in the bathroom and did not leave coffee arangements for the next morning, They didn't even bothe to tidy up the coffee tray or replace the dirty cups. I wonder what else they skipped? They did make the beds. I did inform the front desk. Score 4 out of 5 My review of Inn on the Beach eileen, 2006-10-21 Restaurants across the street. Gift shops across the street. The staff were very helpful, The bathroom is very small, but being it is an older hotel it was adequate for my needs. The beach location is great. |
