Comfortable rooms with a great view of the ocean. If you love the sea, this is the place for you. Close to everything in Daytona Beach yet not right in the middle of all the the congestion. Beautiful beaches and ocean view, a walker's paradise. Will do this again.

Great place on the beach. Wonderful pools, yes pools! The choice of an efficiency unit is a nice perk. Friendly help. Free paper. All around wonderful choice of a hotel to spend part of our Florida vacation time.

Many dining options within several minutes of the hotel.

The Acapulco hotel provided a clean comfortable room at an affordable price.The pool is large and also has twin jacuzzi's on another level.Work on a new condo next door could be a detriment for the short term.

Great dining plases just a short distance from hotel.

The Acapulco Hotel and Resort, Daytona Beach, FL. was one of the cleanest place we had ever stayed at. Can't say enough on that subject. The room was really large even with 2 double beds, there was plenty of room to move around. The room also had a small kitchen and that had everything you would needed, from pots and pans, toaster, mic.,frig, dishes, cups, utensils, dish detergent, dish cloths, dish towels. All you needed was the food. And again everything was very clean. We also had a large closet. Within the closet was a small safe to keep your valuables in. They had a stand for the TV and under that was four drawers for your cloths and they provided only one suitcase stand. There was a nightstand between the two bed and we had a table with two chair in the room. No complaints about the bathroom either. The beds were very comfortable (you didn't get up in the morning with a sore back) We also had a balcony with a table and two chairs and the best view of the ocean. Outside there was a nice size heated pool, child's pool, two hot tubs, and shuffle board, there were plenty of lounge chairs, table and chairs sets w/ umbrella's for their guests to sit pool side. The only thing I can thinks that they could improve on is dresser space. They need more. We definitely recommend to others

Nubby Sheets and No Eggs

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during Speed Week. The room was comfortable and well furnished. Lots of good quality towels. However, the bottom sheets on the both beds were severely pilled - nubby and uncomfortable. Since it was late the first night, we just slept on the top sheet. The next morning, I contacted Housekeeping and asked that the bottom sheets be changed to unpilled ones. I was assured that it would be done. Arriving back at the hotel late that night, we were dismayed to find that the sheets had NOT been changed - same uncomfortable nubby ones. Darn!! Again, it was late so we just slept again on the top sheet. Was unhappy with the performance of Housekeeping. Upon checking out, I brought this to the attention of the Front Desk. They said they were sorry. I explained that being sorry didn't fix the problem. As to the onsite restaurant - it was a complete disappointment. Their Room Service menu included several entrees, including a variety of eggs. They also had a breakfast buffet. So we went to the buffet - no eggs. I asked if I could ORDER eggs and was told that I could not. To clarity this information, I said, OK, I can have eggs in my room but not in the dining room? They said that was correct. So you have eggs in the kitchen and will cook them and take them to my room, but you won't cook them and bring them to me here in the dining room? No they said. They did tell me that they would have eggs on the buffet the next morning. So we went back - and there were no eggs. Also, the dining room was not open for dinner - just breakfast and lunch. Wonder if they had egg salad on the lunch menu? So we won't be going back to the Acapulco Resort. Too many good hotels on Daytona Beach.

Great Location /Good price

Main purpose of trip was to relax and play some golf. Found the Daytona Beach Golf Course to be very nice and reasonbly priced. The drive was about 15 minutes from the hotel.

Overall the Acapulco Hotel was a nice place to stay for the price. The staff was very friendly and the location was great for the Daytona Beach area. Was nice having a kitchenette in the room. Only issue was the elevator nearest to our room seemed to malfunction quite frequently and the hot tub could have been better maintained. The pool was nice and overall the hotel was very quiet.

There were a few fine dining places on North Atlantic Ave going towards Ormond Beach area.

The hotel was very neat and clean. The room was very comfortable. Bed linens were crisp and there where plenty of clean fresh towels daily in the bath. The girl at the front desk wasn't very helpful. Beach was great for long walks.
