Most recent user reviewsScore 2 out of 5 A little Dirty Anonymous Near the Spanish River Beach which is beautiful! The Boca Raton Plaza was a little run down and dirty. The rooms needed some work and the bathrooms were very small. Score 5 out of 5 excellent value Dale There was a strip mall down the block and right across the street that contained a nail place, 2 restaurants (Itailian and Asian), and various stores. This hotel was a pleasant surprise! The location was in the city and I wanted the ocean but oceanfront rooms were too expensive. A charming outdoor bar by the pool and a jaccuzzi (104 degrees) really enhanced our stay. We had breakfast in the room, the food was great, and I wanted to stay longer. We ate at a charming restaurant down the road (Vesuvio's)and the food was superb. All in all it was a great place and a great value! Score 5 out of 5 Good value for the money Anonymous, Chicago, IL Great restaurants in downtown DelrayWe stayed at the hotel for a week and can't complain. The rooms were clean. The pool area was really nice. The only complaints we had which wouldn't keep us from going back were the towels and the pillows. Otherwise we had a very nice experience. Score 3 out of 5 family oriented Anonymous, 2007-03-13 Make use of the grocery store for meals maybe except once a day. There is a refrigerator and microwave in all rooms. Eating out a little pricey. The Boca Raton Plaza was fair; it was family oriented and not business-one computer for all guests. The rooms were small, floors dirty and they used plastic cups vs. glass for rooms' use. However they were very responsive and prompt with any needs or requsts. The employees were very gracious. The dressing area was very small; just enough for one person. Location was very good. Close to surrounding conviences. Score 2 out of 5 It was nice but... Anonymous, Baltimore, MD, 2007-03-12 I found that the location was very accomidating, close enough to the beach and easy access to 95. The room however was a musty or damp with a slight odor. Score 5 out of 5 Great Location Craig, St Louis, MO, 2007-03-08 Beach and RestaurantsThis hotel was located in a great area, right down the road from the beach. The hotel's pool and hot tub were very nice, and the hotel's staff seemed very friendly. For the price, I don't think you could go wrong with this hotel. I had a great stay. Score 4 out of 5 Mostly very nice Anonymous, Orlando, FL, 2007-02-25 Morikami gardens. Beautiful Japanese gardens.Over all very nice but remember if you take the less expensive rooms you could end up with a view of the outside AC units and nothing else. Score 4 out of 5 Older but nice dee, Detroit, MI, 2007-02-06 Shopping, dining, beach all just a short drive from hotel. This hotel is older but the rooms are not bad. We were very surprised at how big the rooms were. Bathroom was a little small but that was no big deal. Wet bar area with small fridge, microwave and coffee maker was very nice. Very large closet and patio area was great. Furniture is a little dated but room was clean and staff cleaned our room everyday. We were on the bottom floor and room was very quiet. We went during Super Bowl weekend and it was a great value for the area. Eat at Flannigan's...great food, reasonably priced. Score 4 out of 5 Boca Raton Plaza Hotel & Suites Janis, 2007-02-04 We especially enjoyed the Chinese Restaurant just a short drive from the hotel. I would heartily recommend it but can't remember the nameI thought it was overpriced for the accommodation; however, that's probably due to location. I did like the refrigerator and microwave in the room very much. We were able to purchase a few items at a grocery store to keep in the room thereby saving some money on food. There are some very nice restaurants close to the hotel and it is not far from the beach road. Score 5 out of 5 My review of Boca Raton Plaza Hotel and Suites Sandy, Cleveland, OH, 2007-02-03 Close to Delray Beach and downtown Delray. Close to Boyton Mall and restaurantsEverything about our stay was great except that the pool was freezing. I expected it to be heated in February. |
