The location is unbeatable and offers the option of flying into Fort Lauderdale, a much more manageable aiprot then Miami. They offer a wide range of rooms facing street or ocean, with and without balconies and with various numbers and sizes of beds. The off-season rates allowed us to slurge on an oceanfront room with a king-sized bed and balcony. Enjoy the beach, pool and pool side bar and restaurant. The high speed internet works well throughout the hotel. It is well maintained and a good value. Ann, West Palm Beach, FL, 2006-10-15 The hotel is located near Haulover Park where there was a Dragon Boat Festival. There is usually some event there every weekendWe have stayed in the Miami Beach area before, as we love to go the Jackie Gleason Theater, but we have never stayed at such a wonderful hotel. It is located right on the beach and has a huge pool on the beach side. As a special surprise, we were upgraded to a Jr. suite. One other surprise though, was parking. We forgot that it was extra to park the car..$13.00 per night. We will definitely go back there and recommend it to out friends! Score 5 out of 5 Seaview Bal Harbour surpassed my expectations HAZEL-ANN, Washington, DC, 2006-10-10 The Sea View Bal Harbour Hotel was exceptionally well kept, clean and just all around comfortable. I felt like I was home in my own house. The towels and linen were not beat-up from overuse. They were nice and new and the bed linen smelled nice and clean. The room was exceptionally large and the area for hanging clothes etc was a nice size. The staff was friendly and helpful. We needed additional towels and they were immediately sent to our room. No hesitation. The outside of the hotel ex. pool and outdoor surroundings was also very well groomed. The pool was a nice size and was just beautiful. A short walk behing the hotel was the beach and that too was not dissapointing at all. Location was great and shopping and restaurants was just a stones throw away. On my next trip, I will definately be staying at the Sea View Bal Harbor. Oh, one thing --- the sign to the hotel is so small we kept missing it. The hotel MUST invest in a larger signe. Such great hotel need not be hidden away! We were pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful 1940's era hotel that had all the modern amenities. Our room was clean, spacious and offered a view of the gulf. The staff was courtious and helpful. The beach and pool area was clean and serene. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short due to a family emergency but the hotel was great about that as well. The only downside was having to pay for the hotel parking but I'd stay at this hotel in a minute. Score 5 out of 5 A quiet serene escape Anonymous, Tampa, FL, 2006-05-28 Bal Harbour Shops across the hotel. Very quiet and serene locations. Close to the South Beach but yet far enough to have a more quiet atmosphere.Overall, the stay was really quite relaxing and serene. The room and the amenities were wonderful. Excellent hotel except for the front desk service (average). Score 5 out of 5 Old Fashion Style Anonymous, 2005-12-18 Bal Harbour shopping is next door, pricey if your into that sort of thing. (Saks, Neiman Marcus etc)If your looking for a diamond in the rough the Seaview is the place to stay. Old fashion service and comfort at a decent price. Score 4 out of 5 Great Pool and Ocean Access Louis, Cincinnati, OH, 2005-08-29 The best feature of Sea View Bal Harbour Hotel, Bal Harbour was its super sized pool and wonderful access to the beach and ocean. The room we had was barely adequate. It shared a balcony with an adjoining room compromising privacy a bit. This is not a good feature for honeymooning couples. The hotel itself is an aged but well maintained ediface. It is very conveniently situated on route A1A and is easily accessible from I-95.
