The altimonte Springs Mall is very close. Interstate 4 which allows you to travel to all areas in Orlando is extremely close

The Quality Inn in Altimonte Springs was suffiencient for the time we spent in Orlando. The staff were very accomodating to our needs unfortunately we had problems with the toileting area. The staff were very accomodating in moving our room but the bathroom area could use some overhauling. The door in the 2nd room we were in didnt close, but again the time we spent in the area the room was sufficient.

Good place to stay for a business trip.

There were lots of good places to eat around. Mostly chains but all affordable and great for a quick meal.

I enjoyed my stay here. all of my needs were met. it was nice a quiet as well. i would definately recommend it to anyone who is looking for a place in the altamonte springs area.

Wide variety of different types of restaurants within walking distance.

The location was pretty good for me since I had business close by. The desk help was hard to understand what they were saying sometimes. Not a very friendly hotel. Continental Breakfast was adequate at best. Reminded me more of a motel instead of a hotel.

Not a spot for Visitors to Central Florida

Upon entering - the owner/proprietor would not let us in the lobby. After arriving after a long trip and to be locked out of the lobby area of a hotel you want to stay in was quite disturbing to me and made me immediately say---God what type of a place am I staying in. The inside vestibule was used to handle customer interaction and payment (It looked exactly like a plexiglass check cashing window in harlem). And Yes I have seen them in Harlem so I know. Because I and my entire family were so tired I did not make an issue of it. I just asked kindly...Do you have in issue with crime here? The wife/proprieter said No, No, why do you say that. I said then why do you have this window here and why won't you let me into the lobby? He said no one gets into the lobby. I said Uh, huh. Acha. and smiled. Whatever, (my husband was getting out of the car at this point)...I quickly paid, turned around just as he said ...what's going on and why aren't you going in (to the lobby area)...Oh nothing, don't worry about it. I got the key. Let's go. When we circled the building we could clearly see this was really a minus-one star hotel...inside was as I imagined: small, crampt, basic, blah. Everything worked though---including data port). We didn't get our crib as requested. Whatever. The next morning it was out and about. Every night was treacherous as the highway noise was LOUD. I barely slept while there. It was Daytona 500 week so I could swear that every other car on the highway was trying their attempt at being a racecar driver. Anyway, we survived, but I would suggest any number of cheaper hotels in Orlando or elsewhere within Altamonte Spring over this spot.

very helpful finding a local dining place. We were on the second floor and the elevator was way on the other side of the balcony, that was inconvenient. we ended up carrying our luggage up the stairs. too far to the elevator

Right off of major highway. Route 4. So a lot of choices are available.

The Quality Inn was your basic highway motel. It is close to a major mall and various restaurants and entertainment facilities. the location has been there for at least ten years most likely twenty and it is in need of some sprucing up but it isn't dirty by any means its just a bit worn. Aren't we all. The maids are extremely hard working I think in where it falls down a bit is in the hotel staff at the front desk. I had a broken Ironing board that was un-useable upon my checking in. I requested it be replaced and I was told that it would be done immediately. I left five days later and it was still broken. It shows that they don't really give a damn in this area.

Unpleasant Staff

There's a huge city park just a few blocks from the hotel. Plenty of Restaurants up the street.

Good morning, I selected this hotel because the location was great for my reasons being in Altamonte. Later that night once my daughter and I returned from dinner, we found a couple of Roaches in our room #141 down stairs facing the pool. I managed to kill one of the roaches but the other got away. I had to sleep with the light on to avoid the roach from crawling on us (they hate the light). After taking a shower and getting into bed, my daugther I begin to feel something biting us and started to itch really bad. I got out of the bed and discovered a lot of little bumps and marks on both of our legs and arms. I then discovered the linen was not clean so I went to my car to get my Lysol to spray the bed, took my personal blankets and laid one across your sheet and the other across us and at that time we was able to sleep. The following morning I address these concerns to your front desk staff and they did not have the least little bit of concern not even an apology. The young lady said OK thanks for staying and that was that. Once I left the hotel and was headed back to Tampa, I discovered my daughter left 3 pairs of shoes in the hotel room #141. I called the hotel spoke to the manager to advise of this and was informed that I needed to call back tomorrow at 9:00am once Housekeeping was in so they could check lost and found. I explained my stay to him and he transferred me to the General Manager's voicemail. On 7/10/06 I called the hotel @ 8:30 am and was informed housekeeping was not in and again was transfered to the general manager;s voice mail. 7/12/06 I called again and spoke with the manager and he said there was nothing found in the room. I explained to him that there were 3 pair of expensive shoes let in the room and if they were not found then your staff must of Stole them, he transferred me to voice mail for the 3rd time. As of this day 7/18/06 I have not receive any calls from the general manager of that hotel,(after leaving 3 messages)no letter of apology or anything. It is sad to say, I would never stay nor will I ever recommend any of my friends to stay in this Hotel ever again. I can deal with the bugs but, the staff is aweful and does not show any concern about your stay. I guess they see their guest as a paycheck, damn if the guest was satisfied or not.

Pleasing and Comfortable

Altamonte Springs Mall

Quality Inn North - Altamonte Springs, Altamonte Springs, FL was comfortable and pleasing. The view from the room unto to pool was pleasant and appealing. The water pressure in the shower was wonderful unlike some places that are very minimal. The coffee in the room was great to wake up to without having to go to the front desk. The Hotel was just a few block away from my work.

Too noisy for the $ $ $

Very close to Intersate 4 and a great choice of nice restaurants nearby to choose from. Shopping Malls within 1/2 mile.

Nice clean room with a real easy check-in. However very pricey, mostly due to "Bike Week" in nearby Daytona. Housekeeping Staff was extremely noisy when arriving at 6 a.m. talking to each other loudly, and pushing their carts out of their storage area nearby my room (#118) The hotel was crowded as were all loacal hotels at the time. No restaurant on property but many good restaurants close by.
