The only thing I was really impressed by was the proximity of the beach. The room was average and the amenities were the same. It is not a place I would care to revisit anytime soon. The property has a very retro aspect and feel to it that does not suite me. But the experience was overall pleasant and functional.

Awful experience

The rooms were vaccuumed in the middle of the floor only, up against the walls were really nasty. The Heating only worked parttime. You couldn't complain the the office they closed at 8:00 and noone was on the grounds. The TV was so snowy that you could see the show most of the time. It was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. We left a day early wanted to talk to the manager but the only person that was there was a new employee.

Clean inside but...

I have mixed emotions about the Del Aire. It is an older property. The outside looks pretty bad. The rooms are small but they have cleaned them up and they don't look that bad. When I first got in the room my 13 year old flatly refused to stay there. We did and he got over it. The pool always had a running hose in it. The steps to the second floor were very steep. The office was always full of cigarette smoke. After staying 3 nights we went to another hotel and enjoyed the rest of the trip! Personally I wouldn't stay there again but if someone just needed a room for the night it is a clean place to stay.
