Very basic hotel, no frills, but spent most of our time at the amusement parks and the beach so it really didn't matter. It was a block from International drive, where there are many shop, mini golf places, and restaurants are. It was a good deal for the amount of money we paid. The rooms were fairly clean and hassle-free. I will definitely be staying there again at my next visit to Orlando. You won't be hurting for low to medium priced chain food restaurants. There are also some miniature golf courses within a short 5 minute driveBased on previous reviews, I thought this hotel would be nicer than it was, but I guess it was a good enough room for a cheaper price. Room and bathroom were clean, but you could tell it was more budget minded: flimsy sheets, cheap towels, a couple of cigarette burns on the bedspread. Walls are also somewhat thin, but it didn't bother me so much. Room was a decent size and the bathroom was a nice size with a long vanity. The desk was friendly and helpful, giving me excellent directions to the places I wanted to go. The hotel is very centrally located to International Drive, especially Universal Studios. Lots of cheap eating around. Overall, I would probably only recommend this to a friend if they wanted budget accommodations, but if that's what you're looking for, this was a good version of that. If you want a place to just sleep and wash between amusement parks, it fits the bill. Convenient location. Nothing either outstandingly good or bad. The continental brakfast was convenient, if barely adequate; great if you like sugar and white flour items. Terrible coffee and curdled cream was the only wretched item. |
