I went down to the front desk and asked if house cleaning could come up to the room and have it clean for me and they did so I very have to say it was a great stay Score 5 out of 5 GET AWAY FOR OUR ANNIVERSARY WEEDEND WILLIAM, 2006-08-20 ACROSS THE STREET FROM WALMART. THAT GOOD FOR THE THINGS YOU FORGET AND LEAVE AT HOME.LONG BEACH RESORT WAS LAID OUT VERY WELL THE LARGE POOL WAS FUN. I LIKE HAVE THE "HANG OUT" SNACK BAR BY THE POOL. I LOVED THE LARGE PATIO. THE ROOM WAS A NICE SIZE AND THE BATHROOM WAS ADEQUATE FOR TWO PEOPLE TO PUT MAKE UP ON AND SHAVE AT THE SAME TIME. LOVED EATING AT CAPTAIN ANDERSONS. THE BEACH WAS VERY CLEAN ALSO. Score 4 out of 5 great location Carol, 2006-05-20 Bed was extremely uncomfortable. It was like sleeping on a bed of slinky's. The bathroom floor could have been cleaned better from the sand that was on it. I realize being a beach place, sand is virtually impossible to get up completely. Upon check in we were asked when we were to be checking out and we said the check out time, 10am. At 9am a girl was knocking on our door asking when we'd be checking out. THEN upon check out, I learn there is a CLEANING FEE that was NOT disclosed upfront! I would not stay there again nor would I recommend it to anyone else. Score 4 out of 5 Great weekend getaway Debbie, Tallahassee, FL, 2006-04-30 Great dining across the street and all along the beach.This was our second stay at the Long Beach Resort. Our room was the smallest they offer and it was beautiful and very clean. The only problem is a Resort being build right next door and the construction crew working right outside our balcony. I would not stay on the east side of the property due to the resort being build is noisy and blocks the beach view for the smaller rooms. All others are beautiful views and no contraction. We will stay here again but ask for a different room location. Score 5 out of 5 Excellent Floor Plan Anonymous, 2005-07-24 We (two couples) stayed in a two bedroom condo. The condo was large. The bedrooms were on opposite sides of the living/dining/kitchen area, each with a private bath and walk-in closet. Each bedroom had a door to the large balcony that was only a few feet from the gulf. The livng area had sliding glass doors to the balcony. The balcony had a large patio table and comfortable lounge chairs. All the walls facing the gulf had floor length windows. We would definitely stay here again. The perfect beach experience. |
