There is a bicycle path directly in front of the resort and a short walk puts you on a beautiful path along the water.

The Hyatt Beach House Resort was for the most part a perfect choice for those interested in a location away from Duval Street. The accomodations were spacious and the pool area was very nice. We appreciated the laundry facility, closets were adequate, maintenance seemed to be pretty good. If I had to say something negative, it would be that a thorough cleaning was probably necessary.

Key West night life!

We've stayed here over three times and have never been disappointed in anything. The value for your stay for a family is superb and the benefits for staying at the Hyatt is that you have the availability to use their other facilities in the area!

Many wonderful dining options along Duval Street. We especially liked Antonio's.

This hotel offered my family of five wonderful accomodations for Key West. The hotel is located just North of the island and offers a bit of quiet from the hustle and bustle of the island life. The suite had two large bedrooms and two full baths. A large living/dining area with a lovely screened porch gave us so much room! The kitchen wass stocked with everything we neeed for our own cooking when we wanted to. The only down side there was no restaurant but it didn't bother us...we had plenty in the frig!

There is a restaurant called In Kahoots fairly close to this hotel - it is located in the Holiday Inn.

Family friendly condo-tel. Perfect if you are driving down and can go to supermarkets to get your own food. If you are flying or taking the ferry, think twice. You will either need to rent a car or pay about $15 for a taxi for each trip off of the Hyatt's property. There is no restaurant on the property. Closest restaurant is about 2 blocks away. Closest stores are much farther. The room is gorgeous. 2 bedroom unit is very nicely set up. Pool is good - only goes to 3'6 deep. Beach is about 10' wide and is cement into seaweed. There is a dock w/kayaks & boats & ski-do's - all for an extra charge. There are nice chairs w/coverings on sand out by the pool. Check in is at 4pm (very late) check out is at 10am (very early). Office consists of one computer that the internet was down on when we visited. Nice condo-tel - bad location if you are interested in doing anything in town.

Nothing was within a walk distance. The beach in the Hotel was not in good condition, impossible to do any activity. In ten minutes drive are many interesting places

Overall it was a very pleasant trip. I didn't like the surroundings, a tore down hotel was just next door, it was kind of hard to find Hyatt Hotel because of that. But a front desk person informed me that there will be a condo built soon. So, I would come visit again.

The Hyatt Beach House is a typical Hyatt property in Key West.. I have stayed in 3 of the 4 Hyatt properties in Key West and have found them to be Very comfortable, clean, friendly and reasonable in price.. 2bedrooms, 2 baths, living room, full kitchen, washer-dryer and a large screened balcony.. Will stay at Hyatt all the time upon my return to Key West whether with my family for vacation or if I am just there to fish for the TARPON..
