Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 good spot brian, Fort Myers, FL have a car to acsess all of tampanice room, very hard mattress. Score 5 out of 5 GREAT LOCATION - FREE SHUTTLE jonathan, San Diego, CA Crabby Bills has good 'early bird' dinners and a good beer selection :)Resort is very centrally located near airport. Staff is willing to shuttle you around, as needed. Nice, pool; good views of Tampa Bay. Close to Rusty Pelican and can walk to Crabby Bills (good bar, food and view). Car is needed if you want to check the sites, but...if you want to lounge around the pool and just see local venues- shuttle may be sufficient. Score 5 out of 5 Good location Anonymous, Burbank, CA The Sailport Resort is a reasonably priced and very well located on Tampa Bay very close to the airport. It has a nice pool and deck area for watching a spectacular sunset. The common areas could use some sprucing up but my room was clean with a full kitchen and living room with audio and video equipment. The free wireless internet service worked the first time, no hassle or delay. The breakfast was just pastries and coffee so I skipped that, but had a nice dinner at the Rusty Pelican across the street. There was a computer and printer in the lobby. There was a lot of street construction going on in Tampa which made driving times uncertain. I would definitely return to this hotel. Not terribly fancy but I loved the location and the kitchen/living room availability. Score 5 out of 5 We enjoyed it very Much David, Indianapolis, IN We enjoyed the hotel very much. We loved the view of the bay and we watch the sun go down that was beautiful. We wished we could of seen the sun come up from our room. But it was still perfect. I would not of changed a thing. We did not want to leave. But had to go to work the next day. Would love to go back! I was a very beautiful Hotel and so is Florida we enjoyed all of Florida. Score 5 out of 5 Review Danielle No review provided by user Score 5 out of 5 My review of Sailport Waterfront Suites Anonymous, San Juan, PR Sailport resort was very comfortable. The room was larger than I expected. Actually I think is a good option for families. I liked the fact that almost every room has waterfront view. The location was very good -- it was near everything, from attractions to pharmacy. It does not have a restaurant but since it has a good location that wasn't a big issue. Score 5 out of 5 Very Comfortable Debra, Orlando, FL This is a very comfortable hotel and great for business travel. Good wireless internet. Decent restaurants nearby (but you probably need to drive). Score 5 out of 5 Great water views! Alan, New York, NY, 2007-03-14 Affordably priced suite hotel just a few miles from airport, Legends Field (Yankees), Buc's football stadium, Westshore Plaza (upscale mall) as well as several fine restaurants. Walking distance to Rusty Pelican & Landry's--nice seafood restaurants right on the bay. Short drive to Oystercatchers--fncy seafood dining. Suite had kitchen w/full-sized fridge, stove, dishwasher, coffee-maker, etc. Adequate bathroom & ample bedrm + fold out couch in living rm. Private balcony also. Very comfortable place to stay. Small shop in lobby for food, drink & sundries open 24 hrs. Beware of extensive highway construction w/poor signage between hotel & airport. Score 5 out of 5 Very comfortable Anonymous, Albany, NY, 2007-03-10 Baseball spring training fieldsThis was a very good experience and I would recomend the hotel to anyone. I plan on staying there again Score 4 out of 5 Great water view hotel close to airport Robin, Sarasota/Bradenton, FL, 2007-02-28 The Rusty Pelican is an upscale restaurant right on the water with beautiful sunsets. We chose the more casual Crabby Bills in the Radisson Hotel - great indoor and outdoor dining right on the water, live entertainment and fun atmosphere. Staff friendly and attentive, good food and pleanty of it.I selected the Sailport because it was on the water, yet still very close to the airport. We had a very early flight in the morning out of Tampa so we treated ourselves to an overnight. The front desk personnel were very friendly upon check-in and noted that my husband and I were traveling with my mother. They upgraded us to a two bedroom suite which was very much appreciated. There are two very nice restaurants close by with complimentary shuttle service or you can walk. The only problem with our stay was that we didn't get our 4:30 AM wake-up call. Thank goodness we woke up around 4:00 anyway and had set a backup alarm for 4:40. At check-in we were told a cab would only take 5 min. to get to the hotel. When we went to order a cab at check-out we were told it would take at least 20 min. and it did. It's hard to say we weren't completely satisfied when they gave us such a marvelous upgrade, but it would have been awful if we had missed our flight. Please visit the Sailport, but double check information with the front desk. |
