Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 Bare bones but clean:) David, 2007-02-14 A multiplex theater is nearby plus I-95 that will take you to many locations....beaches, zoo, etc.The motel room was clean, table and two chairs, a small refrigerator and microwave... The breakfast room located in the motel office area was spacious and the breakfast offered a variety of food...muffins, pastry, cereals, eggs, juices, coffee, etc. We are not interested in amenities....we spend time hiking and fishing ....at Sebastian Inlet, National Seashore and the Melbourne Beaches... We use the computers at the plentiful libraries for e-mail and boarding passes... We were looking for a new clean, safe and reasonably priced motel and therefore, stayed at this motel.... Score 4 out of 5 Friendly MIKE, 2006-07-30 Huge Mall just a short drive away.We had a friendly check in and check out. Disappointed they didn't have a pool. Needed to have Ice and Water available for the continental breakfast. Need to update the shower head because it was very painful to take a shower. Finer dining was 15 - 30 minutes away.Our reservation stated a prefrence for a first floor room. When we checked in prior to their check out time they said those rooms were not available and needed to be cleaned. I told the woman that it was preferred for health reasons. She actually went out of the office and walked over to the rooms to check the progress of room cleaning and checkout. She came back and said that she would be glad to give us a first floor room. We appreciated her extra effort. The beds were comfortable and the headboards on the bed had more style than expected. The motel was near I95 and thus not close to downtown Melbourne. However, it was a 15 - 30 minute ride depending on traffic. We were 40 minutes from Kennedy Space Center. Score 3 out of 5 Review Anonymous, 2006-05-21 This hotel is conveniently located near I-95. The room was clean, the continental breakfast had a variety of choices. no fitness center, business center, etc. Neither the air conditioner nor the refrigerator in the room had been turned on when we arrived. Rooms open to outside, and smoke from an area wild fire filtered easily into the room most of the night. It is an acceptable hotel for an overnight stop on your way to somewhere else. |
