I had asked about the availability of room service at check in but found no menu or local happenings type literature in the room. I didn't complain. Score 5 out of 5 peaceful environment Bill, Green Bay, WI, 2006-05-23 Danbury Fair Mall with MAcy's, Penneys, Sears and many more interesting stores was just a short drive away. Olive Garden and Red Lobster are directly across from the Mall. The Ethan Allen Inn was very accessible from the I-84. Great location close to the Danbury Fair Mall. Quiet, not much noise from the Interstate. Lake Avenue itself was very quiet. Close proximity to a McDonalds and Dunkin Donuts. Easy on/off to I-84. Rooms were small but neat. Bathroom was large enough that I never felt cramped for space. Beds were extremely comfortable. Plenty of parking available during our stay. Lots of young people around for graduation, but noise levels never got bad. Adequate closet space and room to store folded clothing. The hotel restaurant itself was excellent.
