Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 Room too hot Anonymous, Minneapolis, MN This was a wonderful hotel, but their remodelling project caused our room to be very hot -- even though we turned the heat off completely (and this was in January). We couldn't sleep all night it was so hot. We would enjoy staying there again if they can fix the heating problem. Score 5 out of 5 A resort in the city susan, Oklahoma City, OK, 2006-10-15 One of the best malls in Denver is just a five minute drive from the hotel. The hotel provides a free shuttle. There are many excellent restaurants close by and the hotel restaurants have wonderful foodWe love staying at the Inverness in Denver. Even though the hotel is close to downtown, which is good, it is surrounded by a beautiful golf course, mountain views and beautiful landscaping so you feel like you are at your own private resort. The recently remodeled rooms are beautiful and the beds are very comfortable. Everyone there is very helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurants is delicious and the Sunday brunch is well worth the money. We obtained free passes from the hotel to use at the Colorado athletic club nearby which is an excellent fitness center and gym. The shuttle provided free transportation to Park Meadows Mall which is close by and one of the best malls in Denver. Staying at the Inverness is a real vacation and very relaxing and eye pleasing. Score 4 out of 5 Great Location Ashu, Dallas, TX, 2006-06-25 Lots of great restaurants, and shopping nearby! The Inverness is in a beautiful location with lots of amenities. Unfortunately, they were under a renovation that limited access to some of those amenities. Overall we had a great experience with the exception of an ealy morning fire alarm. When the alarm went off, my wife and I made our way outside and to the lobby. It was awkward walking in our pajamas past the education conference that was going on in one of the ballrooms. When we reached the lobby, the person working at the desk rudely, and dismissively told us that it was a false alarm. No apology. No explanation. So while we enjoyed the stay, I'm not sure my wife would ever want to return. |
