Restaurant was a Mexican bar that also had very good Mexican food. Staff was friendly. Anonymous, 2006-10-10 Invesco Field, we were there for Monday Night Football.Big sign out front advertising their lounge, which didn't exist. Room reeked of some sort of scent that had been used to cover up odors, we discovered later that it was actually incense sticks that had been jammed into holes in the walls and burned prior to our arrival. Knife marks in the walls, bathroom door and toilet were falling apart, 3 lamps in the room, 2 minus bulbs and lampshades, one of which wasn't even near a plug, had been used for "decoration", I suppose. Old room furniture and broken glass all over the "courtyard". Two guests and one washrag, towels which had been "pre-stained" from previous guests. Dirty, burned bedspreads, horrible carpet in the room, heater was barely functioning and in two pieces...which didn't matter, because power to the entire hotel was out for most of our stay in the evening. No calling the front desk to complain, as the phone has been yanked out of the wall, enough to leave a hole in the wall that you can see light from the next room through. Worst hotel of my life, and I've stayed in more than my fair share of questionable ones over the years. Score 1 out of 5 A horrible surprise Mary, Pittsburgh, PA, 2006-06-29 the "nightlife" is right in the lobby!!This was the worst!! The curtains were torn and stained and our beds looked as if they hadn't been changed since the last guests. the elevator was broden, the stairs were crumbling and dirty and the whole place was just shabby!!!!! We were harrassed and whistled at by other male guests and it was just dreadful. Score 2 out of 5 Not the best neighborhood Anonymous, Boston, MA, 2005-10-17 $8-$10 cab rideCould be in a better location but not too far from downtown Score 3 out of 5 Not a great location Anonymous, Casper, WY, 2005-10-03 The Pepsi center is about 5 or ten mins. away from the hotel and downtown itself is only a couple of minutes away. The Days Inn Central was a decent hotel, everything was clean and tidy. But the hotel was located in a bad part of town, I felt unconfortable by the fact that most of the businesses had bars on the windows and that the convienience stores each had an on duty police officer in the store at all times. Other then the location of the hotel, everything was o.k., not great, but o.k. And because so few people are staying here, you are sure to find a room at last minute. The staff does speak Spanish so this is good. No car and you are exactly nowhere. Add to my list of reasons not to revisit Denver. Score 1 out of 5 Review Letea, Newcastle, 2005-08-06 No review provided by user |
