Most recent user reviewsScore 3 out of 5 great location nicole, Denver, CO Condos have DVD players in the room, hotel does not.The Village at Breckenridge is centrally located. Close to shopping, dinning and nightlife. Score 4 out of 5 Village Hotel not the one you think lIZ, Atlantic City, NJ It is in fact right off of main street where you can walk to dining and shopping as well as to the nearest lift for skiingI thought the hotel we would be staying in was actually a The Liftside hotel which meant that we had to walk outside and across a walkway to get to the hotel where the pool and hot tubs were outside. The rooms were very tiny and had a scarce of a window to look out of which made the room very dark. The room itself did not look like it had been remodeled since the 80's. If you are claustaphobic, you will HATE the bathroom. That's enough out of me. Score 4 out of 5 Great Ski in and Ski out Travis, Chicago, IL Everything was a walk away. Shopping, food, and skiing. We never shuttled. The Village at Breckenridge has a very 70's feel to it. The room's decor and layout was a little unexpected and the bath room was very small and needed work. For instance the bath shower knob was very loose. The vanity was separate from the bath room however so that was helpful. We also didn't sleep very well, mind you we couldn't find a temperature that was comfortable in the room. The Hotel is not a total bust. The staff was very nice and helpful. The ski in and ski out location could not get any better. Just outside of our hotel was the ski rental and storage, the lift ticket booth, the ski lift, and not to mention a fairly hip young bar that was one of the few places that served food late. The hot tubs and pool were comfortable and not over crowded. We were also just a block away from Main Street and the River walk. This is my first time out to Breckenridge. There probably are newer hotels that you can stay at however I cant say I didnt get my moneys worth. Plus I was here to see the town and ski. The room was the last of my concerns and the amenities and location were perfect for my trip. Score 4 out of 5 great location Anonymous, Phoenix, AZ free overnight valet parking for gueststhe hotel is a great location- close to lifts and close to nightlife. Score 4 out of 5 location, location, location joseph, Orlando, FL If you want to venture away from skiing for a day try the snow mobiling. The hotel can setup for you. Make sure it is the White Mountain Tours. $95 per adult for two hours. The ride was awesome as well as the sights!!!The Village hotel was overall a good place to stay for the value. The location is great! Within walking distance to ski lift. The staff was very helpful in booking activities such as dinner sno mobiling etc. The room itself was lacking comfort as far as climate control. We would stay at this location again. Score 5 out of 5 Great Location, Great View Carrie, Chicago, IL Blue Moose Restaurant is great for breakfast! The Village at Breckenridge was in the perfect location - right off of the slopes and near many bars and restaurants. We stayed in the studio which had a full kitchen and plenty of room. The views were spectacular and overlooked the entire mountain! Only downside was that the bed was very uncomfortable - otherwise very friendly and helpful staff and great place to stay if you're looking for a convenient location next to the slopes. Score 5 out of 5 Ski in and ski out nancy, Atlanta, GA The room was perfect for the two of us. The ski rental shop was just steps from the Lodge's entrance and also steps from the lift. We loved getting up and being on the slopes within minutes. No shuttles or rental cars to worry about. We were also right in town and able to walk to all the places we wanted to go to. The concereirge was very helpful and delivered everything she promised. The room was cleaned and comfortable and also provided what we needed-a clean place to sleep. Score 5 out of 5 Location Great..But... Thomas, Chicago, IL Everything in Breckenridge is right next door. Its at the bottom of the quicksilver lift. The room we stayed in is in dire need of a renovation. Although that seems to apply to most rentals in Summit county, that worn out 70's look is getting tiring. The staff was great and always had a great answer for any question. Score 5 out of 5 Can't beat this location! Anonymous There are multiple fine dining restaurants both within a short walk's distance and a short ride on the city's free bus system. Plan ahead and make reservations if you would like to eat dinner between 5 and 8, but after 8 you can pretty much get in anywhere without a reservation. The Village was great. We went for the International Snow Sculpting event in January and the location could not be beat with a lift right at the back of the hotel and just a block or so from the main street. We had a room with a kitchen (purported to sleep 4: queen sized bed and sofa sleeper). It was perfect size for 2 adults, but would be a bit too cozy for 4 adults. The only maintenance issue we had was a bit of trouble with a sticky door handle. All-in-all we felt our stay at The Village and in Breckenridge was too short and can't wait to go back and visit again! Score 5 out of 5 great location Stephanie, 2007-02-11 walking distance to ski lift, shopping, diningClean & comfortable rooms. Location was wonderful both for access to mountain and town shooping and dining. |
