With its authentic log cabin exterior, Breckenridge Mountain Lodge offers a taste of Colorado's frontier heritage and warm hospitality - for an economy budget. Don't miss the massive, stone fireplace in the lobby or the complimentary continental breakfast in the winter. The western motif extends to the hotel rooms which all feature queen-size log beds. Breckenridge Mountain Lodge provides value with a western kick.

Linda, Denver, CO, 2005-12-26 Try Eric's Downstairs for pizza! The Breckenridge Mountain Lodge was an extreme disappointment! The only positive part of the stay was the location, acrossed the street from the Breckenridge ski area. The bed was hard as the floor, pillow were flat and lumpy, shower alternated between scorching hot or ice cold, Dirty and dingy room (especially bathroom-yellow stains on ceiling and running down the walls, screws in floor), the hot tub was closed in prime ski season, breakfast was less than continential. The free shuttle is not a hotel shuttle but the town shuttle service. The steps were snow packed-watch your step all across the property and parking was poor. We did not even receive maid service for fresh towels-we had to go retrieve at the front desk because they did not have the staff to bring them to us. This is most certainly NOT a 2 star hotel! Score 5 out of 5 Great location and value Carol, Colorado Springs, CO, 2005-12-24 It is about a block from Bubba Gumps. The Breckenridge Mountain Lodge has a beautiful foyer with a fairly large fireplace surrounded by chairs and couches. Check in was lengthy, but the staff were very accomodating. The room was not huge but adequate for two people. The bathroom was separate from the vanity area. There was plenty of heat, which is a real plus in such a cold climate. The dining rooms were spacious, providing plenty of room for patrons and skis. It's proximity to the center of town was excellent....only a block. Score 4 out of 5 Good Value / Close to Skiing Anonymous, New York, NY, 2005-12-22 There is free breakfast items, coffee and cereal, etc.The Breckenridge Mountain Lodge was nothing fancy, but good value for a great location. We were able to park our car for our stay and walk to the slopes - although a bit of a walk with gear on. Lots of shopping, restaurants and entertainment within walking distance, and discount on ski rental right next door. Overall, a good trip and would stay there again. Score 4 out of 5 Great for sleeping Anonymous, Phoenix, AZ, 2005-08-07 Walk to food, shopping and recreation. Skiing, rental bikes, skates and hiking are all close. This hotel was very basic. There were no automatic amenities. We even had to ask for a hairdryer and iron/ironing board to be brought to the room. For a room intended for a family of four, the room consisted of a queen bed and bunk bed, a small desk and one chair. If you are not planning on spending time in your room other than sleeping, the room is perfect, and the location was great and close to everything. |
