Most recent user reviewsScore 3 out of 5 Very convenient Anonymous The Beaver Run Resort was somewhat overpriced for the room. It was plain, but was convenient to the ski lifts. The restaurant closed between lunch and dinner and was average. Score 3 out of 5 Great Location Anonymous, Dallas, TX Beaver Run Resort and Conference Center is in a great location. Ski in and Ski out. The staff was very helpful, but the check in process was too slow and very late (4pm). The room was serviced after 2pm which it was inconvinient. Great amenities, great hot tub by the slope! Score 5 out of 5 Nice place pawel, Chicago, IL I forgot the full name of the place but it wasla fondue, Suisse restaurantBeaver Run Resort- we went there with our 5 yo doughter and we were very satisfied with our stay. International staff was very friendly. We had a late flight and when we asked if we could stay in the room till 2:00pm and pay extra(check-out time 11:00 am), we were told we could and there will be no extra charge- I was nicely surprised. Overall nice place to go. Score 5 out of 5 Winter Paradise Brandt, Austin, TX Ski in/ski out, good 3 blocks from main st.Went to a ski trip, great ski/ski out location. Room was awesome, felt like your own apartment, staff was very attentive. Recommend!!! Score 5 out of 5 Great location Daniel, 2007-02-15 We ate our Valentine's dinner at Briar Rose and the Ostrich was great!! Very unique. It was great having this hotel as a ski in/out at Peak 9. It was so easy to walk across the street and have everything. The FREE lockers for guests right at the lift was an exceptional deal and made the end-of-day routine simple. Also the FREE covered parking was great to load/unload. It was fantastic that the kitchen was fully furnished with all cooking hardware and plates, silverware. We saved so much money by cooking ourselves in the great kitchen. I will definitely go back to this place and I will recommend to anyone. We had a fantastic time. Hot-tubs are great too!! Score 4 out of 5 Great Location Anonymous, 2007-02-13 True ski in/ ski out.The hotel is dated, but going through some modernization. Our first room was circa 1967, but the management moved us into a newer room and was very accomodating. The resort is one of the only true ski in/ ski/ out resorts in Breckenridge and is ideal for kids. Score 4 out of 5 Great Jeffrey, Dallas, TX, 2007-02-09 You have a short walk to the lift, so can sleep in longer before waking up to hit the slopes. The Beaver Run Resort was nice, but our last night they did not bother to clean our room that day. The front desk area in the lobby was very helpful. The best part about the resort is that you are right on the mountain near a lift. The ski and snowboard shop there at the resort was also very helpful. The restaurants in Breck are great and the resort did offer free transportation. Overall, the trip was very relaxing and the resort was nice. Score 2 out of 5 Ski in Ski out Joseph, Detroit, MI, 2007-02-04 Take the free shuttle to town, you can go anywhere and it will pickup with just a phone call. The Beaver Run Resort and Conference Center is located in a great area at the base of Peak 9 and the Beaver high-speed chair. The resort is very large with 4 main buildings and a central area that houses the conference rooms, bars and restaurants. Our room was a one-bedroom suite that we found nicely furnished. It came with two beds, one queen and one single and a pullout sofa sleeper in the main room. The kitchen was sparsely equipped but we didnt mind as we ate in town each night. Navigating between the four buildings is a little difficult as there are many hallways, turns, stairs and elevators you need to access in order to reach the different buildings. My only complaint is that the hotel was renovating two of the four bar / restaurants during the time of our stay, these being the bars that face the slopes and are undoubted the most popular. Part of our trip was to enjoy the nightlife of which there was none at the resort. There is a shuttle that does transport guests free of charge throughout town, running till 2am. In all the resort quality is good, and I would recommend it. Score 4 out of 5 My review of Beaver Run Resort and Conference Center Michelle, 2006-12-29 Very convenient with ski lockers and ski in and out. Shuttle was fast and friendly. Room was comfy but decor could use an update. Strangest shower/jacuzzi bath configuration I've ever seen.
