From the great Boulder Chop House to the Walnut Brewery and every type in between. This is a beautiful hotel located right in the heart of the pedestrian mall in downtown Boulder. Truly the location could not be better. Rooms and grounds are immaculate, staff is exceptional. The room had possibly the most eye pleasing bathroom I have ever seen. The restaurant Lily's was wonderful for breakfast with great food at a reasonable price. Every night especially Friday and Saturday they had quite a large mellow crowd for the happy hour out on the large lawn. The only drawback and it is a small one, the pool kind of lacks the same flair the rest of the hotel does. It is indoors, which would be great during the winter but i was there when it was 100 outside, so it kind of didn't work. Maybe if the doors on the one side could have opened to make it more an open air pool deck rather than one like at a gymnasium. But unless you are going to Boulder just to swim this is no real problem. Great hotel. Score 4 out of 5 Very comfortable Boulder hotel Preston, Detroit, MI, 2006-07-11 Everything is close by this hotel - shopping, dining, entertainment, outdoor activities, night life, and more. The location is perfect. The St. Julien is an extremely nice hotel. The location is great, and the available amenities are superb. The beds are plush, soft, and uber comfortable, as are the pillows. The bathrooms are absolutely beautiful. My main complaint with the hotel was the staff that I encountered. I would most likely give the St. Julien a second chance. Score 4 out of 5 Great linens Anonymous, 2006-07-09 The Pearl St. mall. Score 5 out of 5 My review of St. Julien Hotel and Spa Ann, Columbus, OH, 2006-07-01 You can walk to Pearl Street through a arched path way just one block away and find all the dining and shopping your heart desiresSt. Julien is a new luxury hotel in the middle of downtown Boulder. The rooms are more than comfortable with pillow top mattresses and large bathrooms with both a shower and tub. The spa, pool and exercise area was wonderful. The hotel also had a courtyard which was used for casual get togethers as well as weddings. Esay one block walk to Pearl Street for dining and entertainment. Score 5 out of 5 Great upscale hotel Carol, 2006-06-27 Very convenient to the outdoor Pearl Street mall area which has a variety of shops, galleries, restaurants, bars, etc...Beautifully appointed hotel with an urban, contemporary feel conveniently located to Pearl Street. The bathroom is very spacious and very nicely done. The Boulder-specific photography throughout reminds you of where you are - not just random hotel art. |
