Most recent user reviewsScore 5 out of 5 Great location/friendly staff Anonymous, 2007-03-05 Short walk to shopping/dining on the Pearl Street mall and downtown BoulderNice comfortable. attractive room. Well spaced. Vanity top separate from bath. Very friendly, helpful staff. We needed an extra chair which was brought to the room immediately. Very close to Pearl Street Mall and the University, making this a great choice for parents visiting students. Some noise from students one night - but staff addressed it right away. Only negative is the noise of the through wall heater/AC. Even when in room unit is off, you can hear the one next door. Minor, though, overall. Free internet. Adequate continental breakfast of cereals, yogurt, juice, coffee/tea and breads. Half block walk to Starbucks. Lucille's is a top breakfast spot with a New Orleans slant and chicory coffee. The Boulder University Inn is located just blocks from the Pearl Street Mall, within easy walking distance of many restaurants and several brewpubs, including the stellar Mountain Sun Pub. The rooms are fine and there is computer access in the lobby. Score 3 out of 5 Close to everything Wendy, 2006-08-28 Pearl St. has shopping and lots of dining choices. 2 blocks away.Old motel, small rooms - but clean. Good location for Univ and Pearl St Mall. Cont'l Breakfast was nothing. Public computer was nice. Inexpensive and simple. Score 5 out of 5 Cheapest and Close Into Town Robert, Cleveland, OH, 2005-08-11 Just a very convenient way to see your child without a lot of fuss. Don't be surprised if someone comes into the parking lot a little late at night. This is a college town.Great place for a Dad to visit his son or daughter. Walk to Starbucks and to town. Don't plan on spending a lot of time in the room. It's not for that. Score 2 out of 5 My review of Boulder University Inn Anonymous, Minneapolis, MN, 2005-07-24 This hotel was fine in general, but for one of the two nights of my stay, the toilet in my room didn't work and I had to truck over to another room to use its bathroom. When I checked out, no discount or money-off a future stay was offered to me and I feel like it should have been. But other than that, it's your general motel. Kind of expensive for what it is, but it is in a great location. Watch out for the remote controls though, we went through three of them before one worked longer than ten minutes. Oh and the cable went out on the first night. No TV on Friday and no toilet on Saturday. hmmm... |
