Centrally located and close to the University. Would stay there again. Score 1 out of 5 Very noisy, poor customer service Anonymous, 2006-04-09 I stayed at this hotel briefly in April of 2006. We attempted to check in at about noon the first day and had to wait a few hours, no biggie, as their check-in wasn't until later in the day. We had a ground floor room. I didn't expect that much, given the price and the brand of hotel, so the room was fine. The problem was our neighbors. We had some sort of sports team staying all around us -- all night long for two nights in a row they barked (yep, barked), played music, and ran around. We tried to talk with the hotel manager who was "unavailable" and did not return phone calls. Finally, we checked out early as we couldn't get any sleep. We had to wait an hour for somebody to check us out because everybody was on "vacation" and the people sitting behind the desk were "in training" and didn't know how to check us out. Again, the manager was nowhere to be found and could not be contacted via telephone or email. I called the Monday after we left to try and talk with them about recouping the cost of our missed night -- again, no response to numerous voicemail messages; when I did get somebody at the front desk they again were "in training" and could not answer my questions. Terrible customer service! Stay at the St. Julien -- much better! Score 4 out of 5 Review Anonymous, Evansville, IN, 2006-03-22 Pearl St. Mall is a very interesting place.Score 5 out of 5 Very accomodating Anonymous, Houston, TX, 2005-10-28 Awesome people! Very accommodating. When I had to be in the field at 5:30 am they let me come down the night before and get food for breakfast. Very safe too, they cange the door code almost every day. The place is sort of old, but they really compensated in service. My oly complaint, you couldnt order movies. Score 4 out of 5 Great location to CU campus Anonymous, Fairbanks, AK, 2005-09-03 This is a great place for parents of students or visitors of University of Colorado Boulder to stay as it is a short walk to campus which is a great advantage as the parking on campus and nearby streets is difficult. Also great for those attending sporting events on campus! The Best Western Boulder Inn has a great location to Cu campus, in a very busy area of town but was still quiet and comfortable. The room was adequate size and comfortable but the lighting was poor throughout except for the bathroom. The towels in the bathroom were very skimpy. Our room had a sliding door out to the pool area which was nice.
