Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 Great location Mark, Seattle, WA, 2006-08-23 Very nice shops are close byThis hotel has a great location next to a ski lift and next to the village. The hotel serves a very good hot breakfast buffet each morning. Be advised the hotel has manditory valet parking which is expensive. Score 4 out of 5 Hot in the Summer Ken, 2006-08-09 Many of the restaurants in the Village are family oriented and decent in quality...they are better at being a bar.The property itself is very nice and has a great location, particularly in the winter for skiers. The property does not have air conditioning and it was very warm in the room even though the outside temperature was in the upper 50's. The design of the building did not allow for much air circulation in rooms 35 or 38...thus, it was difficult to sleep. Score 5 out of 5 Great Summer Rates and Location Gary, San Francisco, CA, 2006-08-08 Check out Eat! Drink! - a great restaurant and wine bar in Edwards about 5 miles west of Beaver Creek. Great food and amazing wines for sale at very fair prices. The Inn at Beaver Creek is an ideal spot for a summmer vacation in the Vail area. It's a small hotel located directly across the street from the only operating summer lift and is one of the hubs for the free "dial-a-ride" bus service that will take you to various spots in Beaver Creek, Avon and Batchelor Gulch. While the hotel lack air conditioning, all other amenities were top notch. The summer rates (which include a free American breakfast) are terrific and the hotel staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Score 5 out of 5 Closest to a lift in N America Deanna, Denver, CO, 2006-08-06 Beaver Lake trail is right out the door of the hotel, or mountain biking on the ski trails for summer time stays. Just across the street from the main mall that is Beaver Creek Village, with the night life and apres ski activities too.Great hotel staff, fabulous proximity to Beaver Creek village. No restaurant in hotel, but a very able bartender with a lite fare menu so you don't have to starve if you have been travelling or whatever. Location is awesome, one lift is right out the back door, probably 20 feet from hotel. So if you want the window open, you will hear it. Score 5 out of 5 Great Location James, Denver, CO, 2006-07-30 The hotel is a few hundred feet from the village at Beaver Creek where there is lots of high end shopping and restaurants. Hiking, biking and other recreation is nearby as well. The hotel is next to a ski lift and across the street from the Village. It had a great breakfast with the room and the staff was very friendly. However, in the middle of summer the bar/eating area is not air conditioned, nor was our room. They had fans but with 85 degrees outside the fans were not enough. Overall it was a nice place to stay, but a hot July night. Score 5 out of 5 Totally one of the best next to the slope. Patrick, Denver, CO, 2006-07-04 1. The village has an ice skating rink available to use in the evening, bring your own skates and it's free. 2. Hiking starts at the top, just take the lift up to Saddle Back Restuarant and hike down the mountain. 3. Looking for a little horsing around? Take the village shuttle up to the stables and take a trailride on a horse for and adventure. The room was great and the service better. The morning breakfast bar was exceptional. Being next to the ski slope even without snow was great for hiking and enjoying the natural setting of Beaver Creek. At night the babbling for Beaver creek stream was soothing and made the stay just that more relaxing. I very much recommend the Inn at Beaver Creek for anyone looking for a great stay while in beaver creek. The location was just across the street from the village. The room was spacious and we had robes available to use when we wanted to lounge in the study. Score 4 out of 5 Poor circulation Deenie, 2006-07-03 Shopping, dining, ice skating, etc. is just a very short walk away. This hotel is also ski in and ski out. Most convient in the winter months. The hotel has one of the best locations in Beaver Creek. We have stayed here in the past and returned because of the kindness of the hotel staff, their eagerness to please and the location. Having said that, we probably won't return because we were disapointed with the maintenance and the fact that our room was SO warm! We had 4 fans going at all times. We were never able to get the room temperature below 85 degrees. They were unable to move us to another room. Score 5 out of 5 Review Anonymous, 2006-06-25 Adjacent to Beaver Creek ski resort. Many shops and restaurants in the village square, only a short walk away.Score 5 out of 5 Review Anonymous, Denver, CO, 2005-08-12 No review provided by user Score 5 out of 5 Great Boutique Hotel Richard, Dallas, TX, 2005-07-31 Tavolaccio and Juniper in Edwards were well run and food was excellent. Agave for Mexican was a bust. Gas House was good atmosphere and food was good but more basic. Didn't really eat in Beaver Creek. Was either beer/burger or very high end. Grouse Mountain Grill, in Beaver Creek was excellent in all regards. High end.Friendly, accomodating staff despite our discounted stay of 8 days(off week). Complimentary breakfast made for a very efficient stay without having to dine out every meal. Ideal location and staff was very knowledgable and open about area. Not focused on just selling their product. Will stay there again. |
