Most recent user reviewsScore 5 out of 5 Very Cozy Douglas, Denver, CO, 2006-11-27 I recommend a visit the the Double Dog bar. A friendly neighborhood type bar about 7 blocks away. The Boomerang Lodge made you feel very much at home. The room was spacious with a wonderful gas fireplace to make it feel warm and inviting. The lounge where the continental breakfast was served had a great view of town and the mountains around. The breakfast itself was one of the better continental breakfasts I have ever had. Check out the downstairs area if for no other reason to see the underwater window into the pool. The hotel itself is within walking distance to downtown. Score 5 out of 5 Great place to stay in Aspen Jessica, 2006-05-31 The Boomerang Lodge was a great place to stay in Aspen. We were pleased with the contemporary decor in the face of many lodges done in a very western theme (not very appealing to my taste!). There is a great lounge area that we wish that we had discovered sooner, and the breakfast each morning is very pleasant. Very happy with the room, location, staff and overall experience! Score 5 out of 5 The Boomerang Experience in Aspen Jack, Baltimore, MD, 2005-09-28 Go there JUST FOR THE VIEW FROM THE BREAKFAST/LOUNGE ROOM!From the beginning website reservation to the very last day of checkout, The Boomerang was a high quality & unexpected pleasure in Aspen! With the ambience of both a European boutique hotel, yet akin to a homespun bed & breakfast experience(except that the usual eat-in kitchen/family room that is common has been replaced with 3-sides-of-the-huge-room LODGE-style picture windows of the mountain-- almost literally across the steeet)! The Boomerang has solid FrankLloyd Wright architectural style & grace, great breakfast food, attractive & attentive staff, and EXCELLENT maid service (the maids custom tidy-up your mess & make you feel at HOME! This is just the place to stay for 2 or 7 nights. A great lounge area with Wi-Fi Computer access adds to the convenience of the stay. Rated 3 stars, I would rate it 4 and a half. Not ultra luxury, but excellent mid- range $$ quality, and VERY reasonably priced fro an upscale resort community! Oh and it is in a wonderful, quiet residential neigborhood! |
