The room was oversized and included more than adequate lighting, work desk area and a very comfortable reclining chair. The room also included a small microwave and refrigerator for our convenience. The expanded hot continental breakfast was wonderful and included eggs, waffles, cereal, yogurt, fruit, scones, muffins, juices, teas and coffee (better than home!). Although we stayed during the heart of a deep Denver snowfall, the staff was very friendly and helpful (one staff member even stayed well beyond her shift, in order to prepare breakfast for the guests as her replacement could not arrive). The Business Room located near the lobby was quite helpful, and allowed us internet access as we were in need of contacting the airlines in search of delayed luggage. Though this was a first time stay, I can think of nothing negative regarding our hotel and would highly recommend Wingate Inn & Suites. Score 5 out of 5 Excellent Service Jade, 2006-10-02 The Coors amphitheatre and a movie theatre as well as a great restaurant are all right next door to the hotel.We did not know what to expect with the business friendly hotel for a family trip. All I can say is more than what we could have asked for. Having a 2 year old requires milk to be handy at all hours. The staff was so accomodating stating if ever needed ask the front desk to check the pantry for milk when needed. The breakfast provided offered cereal, waffles, eggs, yogurt, bagels, muffins and extremely service oriented staff members. The hotel offers a business center available any time to allow us to look up directions, print out our itenary, etc. The hotel was very clean and I cant say enough great things about the staff. We will return to this hotel when we go back to Colorado! Helpful staff, pool and exercise room, small business center, clean rooms and free Wi-Fi - a great combination. If you need to do work in the Denver Tech Center, this place should make for an enjoyable stay.
