Mc Cormmick Seafood house is a must for anyone stayinng around the Denver Tech Center. Best service, attention to detail wonderful fresh food can not go wrong.

Valet was only redeeming factor of this hotel. Long wait for elevator, arrived in room some kind of smell like rotten fruit but could not find the source, No coffee cups, 1 coffee packet, no soap, bathroom dirty other peoples hair on floor and in shower. Thick dust as in clearly write clean me and can be seen across room, We called front desk to have someone clean the room better were told it would be taken care of. We arrived back late evening and still the room had not been cleaned, we assumed the room would be taken care of next morning cleaning, that was not the case as well, we had to call back down and demand they clean the room or move us to a clean room, not only were the same hairs in the shower be we added our own and they were left. Stopped into the bar, Very bad service waited 17 minutes for the waitress to notice us, tried to go and get our own drinks told by bartender he only takes orders from people sitting at bar or waitress, we should have left at that point. Finally waitress arrived took drink order did not see drinks for another 11 minutes, and then drink order was wrong this mind you with only three other tables with people other wise whole bar was empty. When we asked the waitress what the problem was she had major attitude so we asked for manager, while we waited the table next to use asked how we came by the cream blended drink we stated just order it from the menu, she stated they had been told the bar did not have a working blender, I then went to the front desk to find a real manager and brought that person back to speak with our table and too look into the problems at the other table. We never did get the correct drinks, we just left. Room service was friendly but only one chair in room so no place for two people to sit and eat together, fresh toast was raw in the middle, orange juice tasted funny, and eggs were running off the plate. We paid full price for everything, never received so much as a very sorry what can we do to make this up. Funny everywhere you look signs posted let us make your stay perfect. I paid for two king rooms as we had our friends along, I was never so disappointed in my life.

There's a great saloon at hotel with entertainment.

The Strater was a great value. Breakfast is included with wonderful accomodations. The historic hotel is well preserved and i can't wait to go back. The location is downtown near restaurants and shops. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A terrific place to stay.
